Both old and new Eskimo Callboy are chaos, different kinds of chaos but nonetheless chaos and I adore both kinds. Old Eskimo Callboy definitely still slaps something in my soul and I unabashedly love it.

You were right about the drummer, it was still Michael 'Michi' Malitzki who left that same year out of private reasons and David joined in immediately (if I get it right, We Are The Mess was the first video with him). Other than that, the only other member change was in 2020 when Sushi left and Nico joined in. I hope you're reacting to VIP too, it's from the 2017 album The Scene which also containes the first MC Thunder, it's another example of them being quite versatile in their style.

Sushi started a solo project and I highly suggest you check out Ghostkid with Supernova, it's amazing! Both him and Eskimo Callboy evolved so much since back then, both definitely for the best.

As a matter of fact, the EC hate this song with passion and are really unhappy about how often fans request it during their performances. Also, Eskimo Callboy is about to change their name because they are getting boycotted by American bands during festivals etc. who refuse to participate if they are in them (more often than not, not knowing ANYTHING about EC and their music to begin with), and because they want to enter the mainstream more smoothly and sell to American public more easily. Aside from that, they will be removing some of their earlier pieces from around 2010 from their repertoire because of some content that has been deemed offensive by some people. Also, I see we have reached the point I've always been fearing. You're gonna start dividing your fans into worse and better ones, the latter being the ones getting more content in exchange for money. This is where are roads part.

I am interested in seeing what they change their name to. I think all the fans know that they would not intentionally be hateful. As for the split in the road, we would not think any less of subs that do not become patrons. We appreciate anyone willing to give their time to watch our goofiness. We would love nothing more than to make a career off of making content. And there is hardly any money in reactions due to copyright. What money we do make are going into our account to fund projects in the future. I hope this clears it up a bit, we do not wish to divide.
