Such a banger live! Heard it first during part 2 of their WE ARE THE MESS tour in 2014. That bridge is super-jumpy and the break hits with full brutal force. I get that Sushi‘s voice is not everyone‘s cup of tea, but it definitely sticks out and is very recognizable - which I see as a quality many vocalists are missing. Not sure whether you already reacted to it, but one of my all time favs of EC is the song WE ARE THE MESS (besides MUFFIN PURPER-GURK & IS ANYONE UP).

I still think you guys should give Callejon Metropolis a try. It‘s a very long video, it‘s kinda a try of a composition of music and video art. The singer of Callejon did a lot of cover artwork for bands like Heaven Shall Burn and Rammstein and is currently getting more and more into filming. So he is basically directing the music videos by hisself. Callejon is from Germany NRW like Eskimo Callboy. They are on the same label, they are friends, they have been on stage together and they are both doing Metalcore (okay, EC are more of a „Trancecore“ band than an actual Metalcore) band. You won‘t get the lyrics of Callejon because they are German, but you will certainly see the very best of the German Metalcore scene.

I remember the Elbriot festival in my city of birth - Hamburg. I think it was in 2016. I wanted to hear that song but when EC played it I was still in the entrance area because the security was too slow. same here, I never liked eskimo callboy at all, they were indeed a sceneband, and if youre not listening to those kinda bands you didnt notice them or like them at all. thank god I figured out how brilliant and talented they are now with switching up their music style.
