Gianna is the lady of italian rock (along with other female artists like Loredana Bertè). She had many hits through the years, especially during the 80s and 90s and she was famous also in many other european countries. She still works and makes hits nowadays, even if her style has changed a bit and is more on the "pop" side now but her songs are always beautiful. She always had this unique, very "feminine" style in making rock music, her songs are energetic but also romantic in their own way. I always thought she has the ability to create magic with her particular voice and sound. I suggest you to listen to Meravigliosa Creatura her greatest success from the 90s and what i consider one of her most beautiful songs, it's a stunning rock ballad, you won't regret it 🙂

Too many memories with this song. I lived in France at the border of Italia in my childhood and teenage. My parents bought a tape compilation of many Italian songs and they played it the car when we go in ballad on the other side of the border.

hi Dereck! I noticed in some your videos you have listened to italian songs by very good and appreciated singers here in italy, can i recommend others too? For example singers like: Mina, Giorgia, Laura Pausini, Elisa... Songs: "ancora ancora ancora" (mina), "come saprei" (giorgia), "vivo per lei" (giorgia ft. bocelli)... Also there is a group, which you may have heard of, called "il volo", of which I recommend these songs in particular: grande amore, l'amore si muove, torna a surriento, o' sole mio.. e if you are willing to hear some classical music you must listen to the "Notte Magica" concert in Florence. especially songs "libiamo nei lieti calici", "la danza", 2una furtiva lagrima", and "e lucevan le stelle". I hope you will follow my advice because they are artists that really deserve (and their songs too). Hi from Italy! Ross 😊
