This is a variation of a revolutionary song "Ah ça ira" , from the 18th century, who was used by crowds during the French Revolution to threaten the French Nobility

Hello from Belgium, being a metalhead I was totally hyped by Gojira opening the Olympic Games, especially with Marina Vioti who is a classical and also metal singer..... pure happiness. Un bonjour de Belgique, étant un métalleux j'étais totalement hypé par Gojira en ouverture des Jeux Olympique, surtout avec Marina Vioti qui est une chanteuse classique et aussi métal ..... un pur bonheur.

Your french pronunciation make me laugh so hard (my english will probably make you laugh too :D ). "Ah, ça ira" pronounce like "ah, sa eera". They did that live, in la Conciergerie, the place where Queen Marie Antoinette was held before beheaded by guillotine (during French Revolution). So meaningful to play French Metal to symbolize French Revolution. The women who sang is Marina Viotti, Swiss and French, she is "classical" singer and metalhead too. I watched Olympic opening, there were rumor about Gojira, back then I did believe it, but at the second I heard a guitar note, I knew it was them, and damn, it was awesome and ballsy (in France, TV is really close to Metal, big stereotype).

The French people saved their country from parasites very effective before, I hope they can again be an inspiration for the once free world.

Yeah I do not hide the fact that I suck at pronunciations! LOL. Thank you so much for the rest of that info, those figures in the windows make a lot more sense now! Love it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. More to come.

Me, learning French: "My pronunciation is bad." Dane: "Ay suh rayuh" Me: "Never mind." Your next Gojira song should be "Gift of Guilt - Live at Brixton Academy, London". They really showcase their amazing talents during this song! Amazing bad!

No, no, it's not Alkaida (I couldn't writen it otherly to not be ...) 😅 You can pronounce it "a-ssa-e-ra" (the three "A" must be pronounced like the A of "car" in English). 😉
