Voiceplay's "Queen in five minutes" is amazing and shows off some of J. None's skills (he used to be part of VoicePlay). Also, their Panic at the Disco parts 1&2. Also, the Moana medley with Rachel Potter is phenomenal!!

Thanks for coming back to Voice Play! They are amazing in their vocal harmonies but also so talented in their production that they do themselves without a label or contract. I recommend checking out their playlist and picking out something of interest. Since you like gaming, they cover "My Mother Told Me" from Assassin's Creed, "Dragonborn Comes" from Skyrim, and "Halo". They really rock out in their covers of "Dream On", "Carry On My Wayward Son", "Nothing Else Matters", "Seven Nation Army" and "Warriors". For Disney they are the best (members and their frequently featured guest have worked as performers at Universal and/or Disney theme parks) and I recommend "We Don't Talk About Bruno", "Little Mermaid Medley", and "Hoist The Colours" from 'Pirates Of The Caribbean'. Their Halloween themed covers are the best on the internet so I would recommend checking out "Superstition' as J None raps in that one.

Everybody really pulled out all the stops in this. Brilliant. Nice reaction. It's easy to forget that's it's all a capella. And yes it's another one where Layne challenged Geoff to go beyond what he thinks he can do. But then Layne was outstanding too. Not sure what the song is about thought, as even Phil Collins said he didn't really know except that he was in a bad place when he wrote it as his wife had left him while he was on tour.

Great reaction.Cliff. J None is spelled without the period. Stands for Jesse Nunn. J was a member from 2018 to 2021. He left to sing with the US Navy. He comes back every chance he gets to sing with Voiceplay.

Every VP fan I know is holding their breath, hoping that J None will return his velvet throat to the group asap, which is likely to be around 3 years from now...but the Navy seems to be very compliant in letting him come back to Orlando on leave often...and they make as many videos as possible every time he's home...But even tho the group has used some truly great "guests" in some of their best videos, (like Anthony Gargiula in "7 Nation Army" and Omar Cardona in "Dream On", etc...) no one has that really smoooooth voice like J! So we are all hoping he'll be home soon, or at least, on frequent leave, for sure! Oh, and if you haven't yet watched "Nothing Else Matters", "The Dragonborn Comes", and "Valhalla Calling", (with a HUGE surprise from J.None in it !!!), then I highly recommend starting with some of these...But careful...the rabbithole is verrrrrry deep....

You forget there’s no instruments because there’s no gaps in their arrangements. All the background and rhythm you’d expect are there. Sometimes more so. 😊

You really do need to watch Phil Collons Live and then you know the real way this music produces. I Fell in love with this song when it first came out. When you watch the BEST way this is then I tell you exactly the way to experience this music. This guy this version does not her at all for the proper way this song truly is. 100% the Best ever. Go listen to it, you'll totally love IT. And,Mind Blown.!!

Their Moana is great, one of their most popular, but I think their Little Mermaid Medley is better. It was so much fun watching your expressions as this cover rolled out. I think it's a matter of personal preference--they've never released a _bad_ cover, but The Little Mermaid is so over-the-top I find it hard to watch. Moana could stand to be a wee bit more theatrical, but I like it better overall. (I think they struck pretty close to a perfect balance with We Don't Talk About Bruno.)

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "Tom Traubert's Blues (4 Sheets to the Wind in Copenhagen)" by Tom Waits (Also known as "Waltzing Matilda"). His voice is so unique that one critic once described it as though "it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside & run over with a car"! Gonna be honest, I love Voiceplay, but I don't really think they got this one. Phil Collins has such a distinctive voice that it can sometimes be hard to catch the spirit of a given song, and this one was a very personal song for Phil.
