Very nice song by Laura Pausini, female singer that I discovered at the end of 1993 when I was at the beginning of my 10th grade in high school, very good memories anyway. I remember buying the French CD with 2 titles (different sleeve) because I loved this title too much as soon as it came out (very beautiful voice that enchanted me) and indeed there is a Spanish version "La Soledad" released in 1994 for her first Spanish album (intended to the Hispanic and Latin market as all Italian singers like Eros Ramazzotti for example do with each album release) because since the 80's, I loved Italian song when I was a kid, especially Eros Ramazzotti and his many hits even in the 90's and also well before Umberto Tozzi (Tu, Ti Amo,...). Also in 1991, Marco Massini with "Perché Lo Fai" with very deep lyrics. Other very beautiful songs by Laura Pausini are to be exploited.

About spanish version, song was the theme for a colombian "telenovela". TV emission was "Clase Aparte", produced by "RTI Colombia" ... "Clean music 😂😂😂" ... In Colombia, we say "música para planchar".

Hi Dereck! Thanks for your react on Laura Pausini. This song "La Solitudine" (The Loneliness) was released in February 1993 (when she was 19 years) as the first single from her first studio album "Laura Pausini" which she sang for the first time on February 23 during the 43rd San Remo festival winning the award for Best Hope 4 day after. The single was released in Europe at the end of 1993 and ranked no.5 in the French TOP 50 and was also very successful in Walloon Belgium (no.1) and Flemish Belgium (no.2). A Spanish version entitled "La Soledad" was released in 1994 for Spain and Latin American countries and was included in her first Spanish-language album. The opus met with real success, received a Silver Globe and she became the first "non-Spanish" female artist to have sold more than a million records in Spain. I recommend other hits like: Non C'E (1994) the "follow up", Strani Amori (1994), Gente (1995), Incancellabile (1996) my favorite, Le Cose Che Vivi (1996), Un'Emergenza D 'Amore (1998): I like this one, In Assenza Di Te (1999) also one of my favorite for this album, La Mia Risposta (1999), Tra Te E Il Mare (2000), E Ritorno Da Te (2001) and finally her duet with Hélène Segara the French female singer in 2003 : On N'Oublie Jamais Rien, On Vit Avec (No.3 in France).
