Lay Zhang is a Chinese solo artist.. he likes to add traditional Chinese influence in his musics so people can know more abt Chinese culture.. He is a very versatile & hard working artist.. He has many songs released already 😅 & he also has collab with several artists including Alan Walker & Jason Derulo. His idol is MJ, so sometimes u would see MJ's influence in his dancing style.. speaking of dancing, Lay is veryyyyyyyy amazing in dancing.. & that's why he is one of the main dancers in EXO.. EXO is one of the well-known KPop groups.. Lay already left the company which is SM, but he still the member of EXO... now, he has his own company named Chromosome Entertainment where he trains trainees to become artists. One of them already debuted this year. Lay is very serious & passionate with his works as you can see from this MV. btw, thanks for your reaction to Lay.. hope to see more.. ❤

Wow, thanks for the reaction and your comments! Yes you get it right, Lay is delivering Chinese elements of music in a music language that you guys are familiar with (or Lay's MPOP), and you already see that the chemistry is really interesting and lit!

Yes, Lay often has an “East Meets West” vibe to his work. He likes to blend traditional & modern elements in both his music & choreography. He actually has two albums titled East and West. Lay is a very hardworking artist who is involved in every stage from writing to production. He is also a crazy good dancer. Very glad you checked out this masterpiece.

Lay is the Chinese member of the legendary group EXO ( deemed as the vocal kings of Kpop).He's currently inactive in EXO due to political issues between China and S.Korea. Aside from being a part of Kpop, Lay is also one of the pioneers or MPOP in China and a very successful solo artist there at that. I suggest to tag '#EXO or #EXOReaction to garner more views.

LAY is/was a Chinese member of the KPOP group EXO. He is extremely talented. Im unsure if he's still in exo or not, I think he's been "stuck" in China due to government stuff. He's like an ambassador of the government or something.. and due to conflicts between China and South Korea, he's been unable to return to Korea to promote with his group EXO. But he has gained incredible fame and popularity in China since he's been "stuck" there. Its just a very complicated situation basically.

LAY is still part of EXO, he's just not active in the group, he didn't renew the contract with SM ( he has his own company in China ), although the diplomatic relationship between the 2 countries is much better now, he won't promote with EXO as long as the group is still under SM because even the other members are struggling to get out of the company and their situation is still unclear, it will be better soon.

Lit has similar pronunciation as lotus flower in Chinese, and it describes a Chinese religious belief of the duality of life and death. In lit mv, general Xiang Yu (the person who got killed in the beginning of the mv, and the one in Peking opera costume) who is a very famous war hero 3333 years ago, is the past life and Lay in modern clothes is the present life. Dragon is the spirit and soul, and the lotus flower and witch help pass along the spirit. Another meaning of Lotus flower is the symbol of growth and purity because it grows and blossoms out of mud. Some people also use it to describe someone who is pure and innocent in appearance but maybe opposite inside. Lay’s antis used to call him white lotus because they don’t believe such a huge star could be so honest, humble, hard working and respectful to others. They also mock at his dream of bringing Chinese music to the world, saying that all of his hard work and effort will go in vain. This song is Lay’s answer to their bully. “No one beat me down, I walk my own path, I’m the lit”.
