Your post-reaction is my post-reaction. You used nearly the exact words that came to my mind when i tried to describe it, this is some ham-handed writing. The Equi-sapiens thing seems to be some sort of fetish fulfillment for the creator is my best guess. lmao

If I had to guess, probably heard some racist remark where black people were compared to horses. I think a simple fix to this flaw is make Worry Free a literal slave trade. Oh wait it already was, it just targeted people based on economic frailty. That's why I say the horse people thing was a jumping the shark moment not at all necessary.

This movie has a very direct political and economic message which personally resonates with me. I should be sympathetic to this film but I am very much not. Avoiding talking about politics and economics as best I can and just judging the movie on its own merits, it fell far from the mark. I don't mind when a movie has a message but this movie has a jumping the shark moment that was not at all necessary to driving home the larger point and large portions of the movie felt disconnected and irrelevant to the story. It's why I was able to so easily cut so much in the edit. This is a parody failure and when this happens it does a huge disservice to the message, which again, I personally am sympathetic to as a working class person that knows what it's like to struggle to survive. If you want an example of a good movie that delivers a message but is still entertaining and coherent throughout, then watch They Cloned Tyrone.
