"That is how Pompey Magnus was defeated. That is how the Republic died." I really have to commend Kenneth Cranham for his portrayal as Pompey. He did a terrific job and I felt for him in this episode. Best episode of the season so far and I feel like I keep saying that phrase over and over again. This show is fantastic. I've liked every single episode thus far. It's interesting how quick to forgive Caesar is with Cicero and Brutus. Atia and Servilia continue to position as news comes to Rome of Caesar's "inevitable" defeat followed swiftly by the news of his overwhelming victory. As always thanks for watching!

16:12 is the best way to explain 'plot armor' i'v ever seen. The powerful gods are basicly the writer . It's so clever and make sense in the context of the show too .

Agreed. I just love how the other characters keep talking about it. "Those two... they have powerful gods on their side and I will not kill any man with friends of that sort."
