I love your reactions, Dan. Thank you. Speaking of covers, Dimash pretty much does his own hard edged cover of this song. Look for Screaming Idol Hits. He does a live version that makes this a new song. Both versions are great, for different reasons. He has a couple other recent music videos on youtube, Akkyum and Love of Tired Swans - both visually stunning.

I think this was his first attempt to get into the Western market. I downloaded it from iTunes and use it as my morning alarm. Even in the short time between this and the Singer you can hear the improvement in his English pronunciation. And hey who needs backing singers when you can do your own, really surprised you didn't get to this earlier, better late than never. Great reaction Dan as always.

Hi, Dan! I love all your reactions to Dimash. I totally identify with you because I also get excited every time I watch his videos or listen to his songs. Every time I see your reactions I think inside of me: "He acts and reacts like me! There's no doubt that we're feeling the same!" I'm also a guy and I can't help but get excited every time I talk about him. I admire him and respect him so much. I think he's a perfect role model for children, teenagers and young adults. He has become my favorite singer and he has replaced all the singers I listened to before meeting him. When I listen to other singers, I get bored! They don't have the same vocal qualities that Dimash has. I don't care if other Dears criticize me for saying this but Dimash is a God to me. There's no one better than him. Hello Dan, l listen to this song at least once everyday. I read somewhere that he played piano and drums in this song himself along with backvocals as we can see. This mv was my first ever of Dimash, ok last summer. I remember sending it to my daughter and saying the whole world will here him , if they haven't already. And, next thing I know the whole world is hearing DIMASH! THIS WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE OF DIMASH. HE has changed it up in live performance and added a rap verse. I always enjoy this song. The MV song is delicate in some ways and his live performance of it especially on Idol Hits is completely different and just as wonderful. They almost feel like different songs. I would suggest Gloria Wu’s channel for the Idol hits version. There are just so many fun background parts to the video and an adorable and playful skit of sorts in it as well. If you decide to react to it I would suggest you react to the complete video including the background. With your enthusiasm I think we would all enjoy seeing your reaction to those moments as well as the performance. Thank yo as always for sharing your thoughts and reaction with us. Wow he's almost there to take the world totally. His English has improved vastly, his translation to pop music video is not surprising considering his immense stage presence and with such a voice so many avenues to explore.
