Also, he only came up with "suga" when bang PD told him that his stage name should be suga as a short term for "shooting guard" which is his position in his basketball team. So there's no way that he has been known as agust d before debut or even before he was a trainee.

One part of him is rich, successful and tempted to be tyrranical, willing to "kill" for power. One part of him is creative, humble, and connected to the people around him. He recognizes the conflict and chooses to identify with the more humble creative side rather than the tyrant, which is why the king allows him to live, knowing he's going to kill him. During his first mixtape he makes many references on how SUGA (stage name) kills Min Yoongi which is his true identity. Now, Agust D the raw savage side kills off the king and SUGA sits down from royalty (if i’m not mistaken, last emperor of the country). The concept/theme is a traditional dynasty where the long hair is indication of wealth and Agust D shown dressed in authentic kingly garments, It was also strongly frowned upon or forbidden anyone with scars could never be royalty but with track & music video AgustD/Suga breaks that stereotype by having a large visible scar down across his eye which expresses even people with scars can be royal on top of showing how powerful his presence is. It seems like now most people hear it for ceremonial and performance purposes with the changing of the guard. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song. **Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals

It was Suga from BTS AKA Agust D (Suga spelt backwards, the T stands for Town and the D stands for Suga's home town, Daegu. So it means Agus of Town Daegu). You are in for a treat if you react to 'AGUST D -DAECHWITA Explained by a Korean' on the DKDKTV Channel. There is a ton of meaning and historical references in the MV and lyrics. Suga’s real name is actually Min Yoongi and is actually the descendant of the min clan or “Y eoheung Min” which belongs to the Joseon dynasty (the last ruling dynasty in south Korea), - quick side note “agust d” is suga’s name backwards and the d is for his hometown Daegu. The artist, the person who rapped in the video is named min yoongi. He is part of BTS, a group of 7 who sing. There are three rappers in the group, this is a solo song by Min yoongi whose stage name is Suga in BTS but he also goes by Agust D, for solo work. All of BTS are amazing. BTS is composed of seven members, all of which do solo performances. One of those members did this solo performance. That member has both a BTS/KPOP (Suga) and RAP (AgusTD... spelled backwards Daegu Town SUGA) persona. The album this song comes from is called 'Shadow.' It's theme is that there is constant conflict between an individual's persona (his outer image) and his interior world. I believe this performance shows a single such conflict where the persona defeats a rather megalomaniacal version of himself bent on ramping up that version of himself that might tend toward being extremely vain, arrogant and overprideful. You gentlemen have just been introduced to one hell of a rapper.
