Thank you, Michael. You have excelled again in your analysis in a warm and empathetic manner. Near the end of Part 1 of your video, it is glorious to hear Aurora say "If anything, my grip is tighter than ever before." It is good to remember that she started writing many songs early on about the impact that the loss of her young friends had for her. Later she wove her song-stories around more worldly issues and topics. Now, she has leapt forward with some incredibly innovative, unique and powerful songs and music. Please comment on her concert for BRITs Week 2024 for War Child. There are really good videos uploaded - re, see Fabrice's channel.

I love this documentary because it shows all sides of Aurora...her intelligence, her joy, but also the struggles. I'm also an introvert, like Aurora and yourself, so I definitely felt her pain and exhaustion having to deal with all the people and attention. It seems these days she's in a better place mentally and enjoys the album process, touring, and even hugs! I hope so at least. Nothing makes me sadder than the thought of a sad Aurora!

Great reaction to an outstanding insight into Aurora's difficult start in her career. The music industry can be brutal on those young artists that allow themselves to be molded by management and the demands of the industry and record companies. Aurora has the insight to remain faithful to her own goals. Your reaction is one of the best I have seen to this documentary, I enjoyed your thoughts and opinions. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks.

@@michaelreactions Now I finished watching your reaction, so great. I really agree with your comments. With your comments, I found many new meanings in many scenes, for example at the time of US tour when AURORA dropped off from the stage, how AURORA sang runaway and how backing vocalist (keyboardist, maybe Silja ?) watched AURORA. This documentary is really moving my heart. Awaiting for 2nd part. Thank you very much ! and many thanks to Fabrice and Thorvald Nilsen.

Yea. When I watched it first time it had big emotional impact on me. I think you can see a different side of being the artist. Also very interesting documentary.

yes, it demonstrates clearly the conflict between creativity and music industry.... and when it comes to someone as special as Aurora, it's 100 times more difficult.

I'm very _very_ introverted....and one of the things I love and respect and admire most about Aurora is watching her become more and more self actualized and confident over time. It's inspiring. Especially _because_ she too is an incredibly introverted person. I find most people who _claim_ to be introverts...strike me as supremely extroverted. It's almost like they use that label to seem unique and cool? But Aurora isn't an introvert for show...she's just genuinely in love with being by herself and almost never feels lonely or bored when alone. I'm the same. And yet...she's ALSO found a way to tap into her extroverted power and to create and be deeply in and of the world. She takes up space with confidence...she isn't shy. And seeing an introvert....succeed at that, is both very rare and very inspiring.

@@avedic I must admit that I'm an introvert myself. I never get bored being alone, for example.

I enjoyed your comments regarding the documentary, which I have seen numerous times and will watch many more times. Nice reaction. I feel that Aurora is happy with the size of her fan base which is world wide. Here in America, mainstream music rules (so much of it sounds the same, I can't tell most of them apart), and thank goodness, Aurora will never be mainstream.
@avedic
@avedic 10 ай бұрын
In a way, I wish she WOULD get mainstream....or rather, could. Because that would imply the world as a whole, humanity as a whole, had leveled up in some way...that wisdom and kindness and freedom(for oneself _and_ others) was valued more than it is. But....we don't necessarily live in _that_ world, so yeah....Aurora will probably never be mega huge. That's both ok, but also kind of a bummer...because of what it says about most people.
@Oldperson-wt3ui
@Oldperson-wt3ui 10 ай бұрын
@@avedic Yes, what a wonderful world that would be, if her music was recognized for the excellence that it is and taken to heart. Mostly, I just meant that her level of artistry is so far beyond most music here in America, mainstream music here has not been producing anything that really stands out in decades, most of these singers songs all sound the same, their voices too. I guess you can tell, I am not a fan of music here. Have a great rest of the weekend fellow Warrior.

ahhh....you live in Provence, eh? Chanceux! Je suis plutôt jaloux... I was born and live in America....but I'm so thankful my family lived in Nice for 3 years when I was a young kid. From like 1st to 4th grade. I was young...but boy do I remember it there. The smell of lavender, both fresh and dried, and the sheer crisp purity of the air is something that I'll never forget. One of the most gorgeous places on earth...that region of France. Au revoir!

Thanks, I really enjoyed watching this again with you, and hearing your thoughts and analysis, and I look forward to the next part. I feel like this would be a lot more difficult to watch if you didn't already know what was waiting for her once she got through it. I feel like she's living her best life these days, and is really enjoying being an artist, even touring, which she once hated. That makes the early struggles worth it.

@@michaelreactions I'm a big time introvert too, so I know exactly where you're coming from. I think the advantage she has over most of us introverts is her freedom from the judgment of others. Not many people (even extroverts) enjoy that freedom. I think it's her superpower.
