What an awesome artist, interesting on so many levels, fascinating in short. To pick up just one of the many points you touched on, her tendency to vary her ways of singing a song, depending on what she seems to feel, without ever ceasing to produce beauty, always leaves me pensive, impressed, respectful. So much talent and depth, at all levels. That was great to watch this concert and to hear your thoughts on this authentic artist; I agree with the vast majority. Thank you, Michael, for reacting to this whole documentary.🙂👍

I like what you said about her embracing everything in a childlike way ("Through the Eyes of a Child"). I've always thought she's like an old soul, but still with a very childlike sense of wonder. It's the best of both worlds. Wise beyond her years, but still able to embrace life without a hint of cynicism. Regarding the shaking of the head, there is a fan-shot video from one of her concerts, where she explains that. To paraphrase, she said that she had studied animals, and they often shake their heads to reset, and she finds that it works very well for her. I really liked your interpretation of "Infections of a Different Kind." It was initially inspired by Aurora waiting at an airport, with everyone tired and kind of down, and this little girl was walking around and just putting smiles on everyone's faces. But obviously it was developed well beyond that initial inspiration, and I really like your take. She has said that "Runaway" means something different to her every time she performs it, so your saying that her performance reflected the circumstances she found herself in was spot-on! She has even said that she has changed the way she performs a song right in the middle, because of how people are reacting in the audience. It's all very fluid, and not formulaic. "Daydreamer" was such an epic closer! Love dad kissing mom on the forehead at the end. That must have been a really special moment for them. I can only imagine how proud they must be.

Thank you for 2 part reaction for this concert. It is one of these special concert I really love:). I agree her live performances are not the same. Sometimes there are subtle changes, sometimes bigger (including different arrangements) :). But you can see a passion for a music and you believe that she believes what she sing and emotions she convey and it has effect on you too.
