Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 or 16 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Kobysz for that. The kobyz is a very old two stringed Kazakh folk instrument and it’s wide spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). And the last note he held for 20 seconds. The way he switchs so affortlessly between the different registers and octaves in one song is so mesmerizing and unbelievable. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He came out of retirement specifically to work with Dimash when he first heard him. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range (no kidding), like Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You'll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It's more of a father-son relationship. Please react next to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war😅.! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpyzhGmqbZmknZY Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

Dimash is the GOAT. Vocal specialists are coming out all over and saying; there was the use of the human voice 'In the time before Dimash' -and Now! Many joke about Dimash being some kind of 'alien' who must have swallowed a few dozen singers, but this is completely disrespectful to all the hard work he has put in to developing his Instrument. In fact, Dimash has been in formal music and vocal training ( primarily in Classical voice, but across every genre) since the age of 5 and he is now 29 years old. So that's almost 25 years [ a quarter of a century! ] of specialised vocal training, + daily - repeat DAILY! - practice. That's how. Oh - and picking his parents very well, both of whom are well regarded Singers in their own right.

Thank you for sharing Dimash! He is a 29-year-old multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter/composer/director/etc. from Kazakhstan and the instrument at the start is an ancient Turkic instrument called kobyz. Is this your first experience with Dimash and, if so, how did you hear about him?? He has a 7+ octave vocal range including multiple sub tone and whistle tones. He plays seven instruments, sings in 14 languages, and is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, is VERY good at English now, and is continuing to work on Mandarin, I believe. He has been studying music full time since age five but rose to fame when he was invited to compete on the Chinese singing competition show "Singer" in 2017 when he became an over-night sensation by performing "S.O.S." on the first night, a song that has since become his calling card. He literally performs every music genre except country western and death metal (yes, that includes pop and rock music). His fan base (he calls us his "Dears") are incredibly loyal and knowledgeable and whenever people start reacting to Dimash we show up 'en mass', so be prepared: the more Dimash you share the more your channel will blow up! As far as suggestions, there is a "right way" to approach your Dimash journey. Typically we suggest you start with "S.O.S." but we often recommend "Stranger" second so you're good. Check out "S.O.S." at the Slavic Bazaar or see his breakout performance of it from "Singer"! Then: "Opera 2" (find the extended version with subtitles to see a great interaction with his father) "Sinful Passion" "Ogni Pietra/Olimpico" "Unforgettable Day" at Gakku (🤯) "Ikanaide" From there you're in a good place to explore his work at will and be able to truly appreciate it!

@rabbitholereaction Жыл бұрын
@@ЛарисаМетельская-г3з I am in no way stating that these are the best songs to listen to or the only pertinent songs by Dimash. As I specificially stated, these are songs that are often recommended as a good STARTING POINT so that when new listeners DO listen to songs such as "Daididau", "Mahabbat ber Magan" (one of my absolute favorites, by the way), and many of his other incredible and beautiful works they are equipped to fully appreciate them. I also did not include any of his pop pieces or English pieces in my list because I do not think they are the best starting point for a new listener. I absolutely recommend that every person on the planet listens to every single Dimash song ever made! But I would not, for example, suggest a brand new listener start with "Story of One Sky" or "Be With Me" because I think to fully appreciate these pieces of Dimash and his art you need to know enough about his style, capabilities, and about him as an individual.
