Emmylou Harris is one of the biggest names in country music. She has about 25 albums out. I highly recommend checking out her music. Boulder to Birmingham would be a good song to start with.

Three legends creating a heavenly sound! The harmonies are incredible! Linda’s voice rings out in a powerful way but she never tried to dominate the vocals (even though she absolutely could)! The two “Trio” albums are spectacular! Great choice! I recommend checking out “High Sierra” or “Hobo’s Meditation” from this same amazing trio. 🌸💐✌️

You'll be glad to know they eventually recorded an album together, called Trio. I think they recorded a second one as well. EmmyLou is usually associated with bluegrass music, maybe Americana or folk music as well. These ladies were friends from way back,

Love these three lovely ladies together. Their voices blend like the sound of the angels. ❤️❤️❤️ Emmylou’s voice is as beautiful and pure, as crystal clear as a mountain stream. Her songs are a wonderful rabbit hole to travel down. You must check out “Wayfaring Stranger” and “One of These Days” are two favorites. Yes, Emmylou is in the middle. Linda has the bangs. 🙂🙂

The 3 of them performed this song together on Dolly's show in 1976. They later collaborated together on a few albums. The first Trio album from 1987 is great & showcases the lovely voices of these talented ladies. Lots of great songs such as "To Know Him Is To Love Him", "Telling Me Lies", "Those Memories Of You", "Wildflowers" etc. They did a 2nd album Trio II in 1999. It also has many hit songs such as "After The Goldrush", "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind", "Feels Like Home" etc.

Old gray whistle test Emmylou Harris and the hot band Performing Tulsa Queen Featuring the great Albert Lee and Rodney Crowell, I mean that entire stage is a who’s who of country instrumentalist singer songwriters it’s an absolutely incredible performance. It’s not just that she’s had an outstanding career which she has. But she is played with. EVERYBODY! There’s so many great live performances from Emmylou obviously the last waltz Evangeline and dozens more. Several times on Austin city limits. I seen her live many times and many incarnations and everyone is spectacular.

People forget that Dolly has been singing with her sisters and brothers since she was a small child. Singing in harmony and in groups is just part of Dolly's love of singing. She's had lots and lots of duet partners because Dolly loves to sing with others.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I saw an interview with Linda Ronstadt where she said she was singing with Dolly and Emmilou when she first suspected something was wrong with her health which was affecting her singing. It doesn't show much, except for the concern in Emmilou's eyes at the end of the first verse and Linda's hard concentration. At the end of the song, Linda looks relieved to have made it to the end of the song, Dolly applauds her, and Emmilou gives Linda another concerned look as the film ends.

With you being a Christian and your faith with our Lord Jesus, I would love for you to react to Dolly's live performance of "He's Alive" (written by - I believe- Don Francisco in 1976) CMA awards show 1989. Also, a live performance of a song that Dolly wrote after 9/11 "Hello, God". Both will touch your heart and your soul. 🥲
