If you look at the timing of when Gabriel sung/ posted “Believe” it’s within a couple of weeks after he didn’t win America’s Got Talent. I have a theory that he used the emotions he was experiencing to funnel it all into the mic so that when we hear him sing things like, “… and you know that I’ll get through this…” it has way more of an impact than if it was just a singer singing a normal song nicely.I think he chose this song and the timing of it purposely as a response. Just a guess.
