Nobody has mentioned yet that Christine McVie, John McVie, (her husband and bass player), and Mick Fleetwood, (drums) were in Fleetwood Mac years before Stevie and Lindsey Buckingham, (guitarist and boyfriend of Stevie's) joined later, in the 70s.

Christine McVie and Lindsey got along very well, instant "interesting" chemistry according to him when he joined the band. Christine would write these amazing songs, then Lindsey to add his musical touches to them. But, according to Lindsey, Christine would of course give the final approval since they were her songs. She hardly ever disapproved! They created some amazing hits together!!! "Don't Stop" and "Hold Me" were two good examples and he even did the guitar playing on her first solo album's biggest song "Got A Hold On Me"

that combo of voices, Mcvie and Buckingham, along with Stevie background vocals on "Sara" gives you goosebumps..

There were three singer/songwriters when lead guitarist Lindsey Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac with his girlfriend vocalist Stevie Nicks in 1974. Christie McVie joined FM as a vocalist on keyboards in 1970, two years after marrying bassist John McVie in 1968. John McVie and drummer Mick Fleetwood formed FM as a band in 1967.

Happy to hear you'll be doing more Fleetwood Mac stuff...the group goes back to 1967, in one form/style/lineup or another...if you want to go to their most opposite end, check out The Green Manalishi...it's a different style/lineup/time and place in the group's long history...🤔

There is no "lead singer" in Fleetwood Mac. In this incarnation, the band is a three-way split between singers/songwriters. Stevie is just the most famous because of an incredibly successful solo career....and hell of a stage presence/image.

Christine McVie. It is her songs that I really like from Fleetwood Mac. This was after the Rumors Album which was about the following---> She was married to the bass player John McVie. She then had a relationship, with Mick Fleetwood. Then she married someone else. So the Soap Opera that was Mick Fleetwood Mac was not just Stevie and Lindsey. Mick also had a relationship with another woman while he was married. So when i say that they could script a Soap Opera for years.... BTW the problems between Stevie and Lindsey started before they joined Fleetwood Mac. Stevie cheated and Lindsey was jealous but Stevie said that Lindsey was controlling so don't ask me who is at fault...
@tikneshiabeauford72898 ай бұрын
Actually, Stevie had a relationship with Mick Fleetwood, not Christine.

I notice that noone mentioned the reason for the revival of this song. This is due to a crappy computer game by Bethesda Softworks, especially the claims about the game by Todd Howard. That said, this is a great band.
