The best thing about this song is that Soyeon is the group's rapper, but for this song she only does the chorus and all the others have rap verses. She knows she's one of the best rappers in the games, she had nothing left to prove for herself, just to show off that the other members can do more than just sing as well. Also in the lyrics they are basically all just flexing. Minnie is saying something like "I know you all love my voice"; Yuqi says her deep voice is more powerful than a drum; Shuhua (the youngest) calls herself a boss baby and Miyeon calls herself a princess. And Miyeon just released her first solo album 2 weeks ago, with the single Drive! It's very differently but absolutely stunning.

That’s such an awesome point about her giving the others a moment to show their own talent. And that’s the mark of a great artist. She’s so talented and a badass which is the perfect combo to make a stuck up, overconfident idol. But Soyeon seems so incredibly humble and you can tell she loves her group and believes in their talent just as much of not more than her own. I haven’t seen much of her off stage, but watching Queendom I could see she still questions her own work and looks to her team for feedback. This is part of why I’ve started listing to K-pop more than any other genre- their idols work so hard and they most often actually write and/or produce their own music. I feel like very few American pop artists can say the same now a-days.

I love how there are callouts to Soojin in this song and in Tomboy (I'm sure everyone here knows, but Soojin was thrown out of the group last year for accusations of bullying in middle school and I think smoking....nuts). @@seooh_ I just recently got into g-idle so I don’t know much, but heard about the accusations a while ago and when I saw there were only 5 members in the video I went online to see if she got fired. Wikipedia is saying that the police did an investigation and determined the claims were true. I don’t quite understand what kind of investigation you can hold to prove bullying from years ago so I don’t know. But if it’s true, then that’s very disappointing. But (unless it was something serious like it led to someone committing s*icide or something) I don’t see how bullying should end a career if it happens before they got their.

Lol I found it funny when in the comments some people were offended by what he said that Idle dance is that goood. Just because they rarely perform hard dances doesn't mean they can't, but their concept usually doesn't allow them to do so. That's why there is such a thing as a concept. If a group has a girlcrush-badass type concept continuously, of course their choreography will be hard continuously too. While Idle, they never bring the same concept every time they comeback. Coincidentally, in this comeback they have such a bside, so they have a chance to showcase their abilities that no one has seen yet.

You will love G-Idle even more when you find out that all music and lyrics are made by them. Most of their music is made by Soyeon, but lately on last albums it is also Minnie and Yuqi who made some of their songs. In case of My Bag it's Soyeon who wrote the song and she wrote the lyrics for the reast of the girls to fit their style and show off they rapping skills. There are a lot of great dancers in K-pop, but one group that always stands out to me personally as very great dancers across the board are Purple Kiss. Not only their dancing though, they're just very talented overall, and they even take part in writing their own music as well. They don't have a bad song imo, but if you want a video that shows a lot of dance specifically I recommend *My Heart Skip a Beat* ; it's a dance performance video and they choreographed it themselves! It was the very first song they released, ahead of their proper debut (unfortunately one of the 7 members couldn't be there) and it's absolutely amazing! Idle is more known for their rapping and self production. In kpop girl groups, the top dance groups would be Itzy, Loona and Everglow are the ones off the top of my head. "Soh-yeohn" if that makes sense. The first o is a close o, though... A sound between o and u, but it never sounds like "ow"! (Put your lips as if you were to inflate a ballon) It is hard to explain here, though! English speakers tend to add the "w" sound everywhere... In korean, just get rid of it! That makes a pretty strong accent!
