He finds love or lust in a young girl(s), gets stomped out over her, experiences his first hit of drugs and sees close friends and family die in front of him, etc. So how does he survive it? Out of Section.80 and good kid, m.A.A.d city that we’ve listened to so far, GKMC is my favorite with a ranking of 9/10, only because there was one song on the album I didn’t care for and the bonus tracks seemed out of place. LOL Unfortunately, KZbin is still hating with the copyright restrictions so I had to chop this video up. Most of the time in LA hoods when a G was shot and killed holding down the set - they became almost legends for how they faced the barrel and didnt run. They became immortal like- in the hood. In LA, Watts and Compton its ALWAYS a neighborhood thang.

I can see that. Especially since that’s a thing in Jersey too. They get murals, celebrations on the anniversary and stuff in remembrance of them. It’s sad but it’s reality.

I saw a breakdown of Poetic Justice and basically that song is about how Kendrick is so taken with Sherane that he doesn’t realize she’s setting him up to get robbed. They were pressing Kendrick..after he left Sherane’s

@@ChillingWithMonie i’ll see if i can find the interview Kendrick did but Sherane is based on one person (he changed her name) and the song I’m Dying of Thirst is about 2 people (his friend Dave that was killed and a girl he went to school with that got into drugs and prostitution)

You gotta listen to absoul book of soul trust me his girlfriend Lori job jumped off a radio tower to her death allegedly a suicide he was also born with Steven Johnson syndrome that’s why he always wear shades his eyes are light sensitive. Trust me don’t listen before review it. Unless u heard it already
