i will never get tired of watching people react to Heilung like this. Because its like this for me everytime i listen to any song. Nothing compares.

The horn being played is known as a "Bukkehorn" it is made from a goat horn harvested between five and seven years prior to the carving of the instrument and it is a traditional instrument of Scandinavian cultures.

I can translate the runes at the end of the video: Heilung: Christopher Juul, Kai Uwe Faust, Maria Franz Location: Les Menhirs de Monteneuf Stylist: Annicke Shireen Catering: Rachel Dauke, Virginie Rogers, David Thiere Film Crew: Roderick Patijn, Marten Sloves, Ryan Schamine, Dirk Zijlstra Our deepest thanks go out to our helpers and guardians of this and the other side.

Thank you so much! So they are the credits for the video basically that's actually really cool. May I ask how did you learn to read runes?
@jasontaboada6855 Жыл бұрын
@@VelcroReacts I originally figured out the Anglo Saxon runes from the Ozzy Osbourne album “Speak of the Devil” in the early 1980s. My friend & I found a few words that looked similar to the English alphabet & proceeded to decipher the rest of the message. I’ve been using those runes for secret messages for years. Recently I’ve been learning more about the Elder Futhark runes through books, KZbin videos and Heilung’s albums. Their videos from the LIFA ritual have the name of the song in both runes and regular alphabet. Heilung’s song “In Maidjan” features the names of the Futhark runes. The term Futhark comes from the first 6 rune names (Fehu, Uruz, THurisaz, Ansuz, Raido, Kenaz).

If you want to see more of Maria but still in a Heilung style, try her live studio version of Songleikr | Ulvetime (Hour of the Wolf). She is truly a beauty, and with a beautiful voice. Even if you don't do a vid on it.

This music is a mix of Old Germanic and Nordic cultures. I'm a Frisian person, we are the indigenous peoples who reside in the province of Fryslan or 'Friesland' in the Netherlands well predating the viking age. The days of the week come from old Germanic, Odin in old Frisian is known as Weda and this is actually where the day of the week Wednesday comes from 'Weda's Day' as well as the other days of the week representing different old Germanic gods. Germanic languages including English all derive from the branch of indo-frisian as well as Runes are Anglo-Frisian.

It's here to awaken more people, to what we are truly doing on this planet, we should be in communion with with the spirits of the earth, not the spirits of Man! Been awakening for about a year now and Heilung has been a major contributor....if it moves your soul, follow it!

It is definitely soul music. That is why we feel and get it without understanding the lyrics. We have probably experienced these things in previous lives. I love Heiling!

Greate reaction! The flute is called a GEMSHORN in Germany. Nowdays mostly made of a cow horn. The place is real, no set. Please listen to Heilung - Tenet, but there is no real video, only the music. BTW: The sound is on some positions not synchron... 😏

I will just paste my comment from a different Heilung video. I have a hard time listening to Heilung. Any of their songs. I however have a viscerally emotional response to them. Every, single, time. Best I can explain is that it spiritually hurts. Like my soul feels like its listening to something that was ripped from it eons ago. Like a memory you forgot but out of no where comes back like it happened 10 minutes ago. Even with all that said I listen to them daily. I feel like I need to.

Basically its the alphabet song for the Norse runes :) If you know a bit of runes their poses try to mimic each of the runes. Its pretty cool. Just google Norwegian Rune Poem. The video was recorded in France. And now that you say you love Hellblade 2 you should react to In Maidjan. Its in the trailer for hellblade 2.
