Even on the original video, no one has pointed out that if you pause the video, the name on the patient file of the little girl is Katy Nichole. I believe this is a reference to her own story and probably what her parents went through when they found out she was diagnosed with a medical condition at a young age.

Im unsure of the perspective, but it looks like her name and she does have a medical condition. Maybe its a reference to her life. But, I will say, the broken little girl inside of me needed this song. I cry every time I hear it. Very moving. I've only known of it for a few months.

She is the daughter who passed away in the hospital and the medical bills were what the parents were fighting over. She was the spirit of her daughter praying for them.

I understood and appreciated the song better with the video. Still not sure what’s going on in their situation in that family. Could be that the daughter was in hospital. but she prayed in the song so that’s what counts.

Either there daughter was in hospital and they couldn't afford medical bills or medical bills ofrom their daughter who passed away
