Hi, I just want to say does it matter what color Lisa is in the 80s I was in my 20s and I think we were a little more excepted then people are today they’re more color centric. The only thing I know is that I love her music and that she can sing. I try to look at the person first and not what color they are And judge somebody individually and not as a whole or part of a group just enjoy her music.

Why would you think she was black, A lot of British soul style singers are white women. Maybe you don't realise the tone of British white women singers is deeper then fellow American white women singers, that is why they sound so soulful like Lisa, Amy Winehouse, Dusty Springfield etc. Forget skin colour when listening to British singers, that also includes their male singers..
