Yes this is spanish guitar. And guitar itself and other instruments like guitar are derived from setar an ancient iranian instrument. Also spanish were influenced by eastern culture from two different point in history one is from very ancient time in history when Aryan tribes had immigrated there and one from the time Arabs take parts of their lands. And Arabs themselves were influenced by Iranians.
@Raybod73 жыл бұрын
You say Gui"tar", Tar means line in Persian and the Greeks brought the instrument from Iran to Europe and the first example was Setar (3 lines).
@spockbella3 жыл бұрын
@@Raybod7 “tar” means strand or string... example “tar e moo” = “strand of hair”. You were close though. “Sehtar” = 3 strings” “sitar” = 30 strings (thanks to Indians reduced to 16 strands)... Guitar=?tar don’t know what “gui” means. Anyone?

@@spockbella my bad, i meant string but didn't find the right word, thank you 😓😁

The earliest stringed instruments known to archaeologists are bowl harps and tanburs. Since prehistory people have made bowl harps using tortoise shells and calabashes as resonators, with a bent stick for a neck and one or more gut or silk strings. The world's museums contain many such "harps" from the ancient Sumerian, Babylonian, and Egyptian civilisations. Around 2500 - 2000 CE more advanced harps, such as the opulently carved 11-stringed instrument with gold decoration found in Queen Shub-Ad's tomb, started to appear. The arabs were the ones that brought the guitar to spain: The Moors brought the oud to Spain. The tanbur had taken another line of development in the Arabian countries, changing in its proportions and remaining fretless. The Europeans added frets to the oud and called it a "lute" - this derives from the Arabic "Al'ud" (literally "the wood"), via the Spanish name "laud". A lute or oud is defined as a "short-necked instrument with many strings, a large pear-shaped body with highly vaulted back, and an elaborate, sharply angled peghead". You can't claim things that are historically not true. www.guyguitars.com/eng/handbook/BriefHistory.html

The similarities are because of the fact that musicians in Iran especially in pop style, use the Spanish scale a lot in their works.

Iranian songs are more about the facts and most of the songs are romantic and sad. Iran has very good and well-known poets, or it is better to say that their poetry books have been translated into several languages.

Poetry text translation: You want to remember the object, but your heart burns You pretend to love this game every day Do not be afraid, everyone will be excited until the end Forget about these worries for two days I promise you, it's not hard, at least for you Be comfortable away from you and your world No one comes to your place, I long for your tomorrow I promise you, it's not hard, at least for you Be comfortable away from you and your world No one comes to your place, I long for your tomorrow From love, you took everything I knew from me, you remained, you took my feelings from me Do you want to be me? Remember there is a lamb You are not ready to leave Do not be afraid, go without me No one remembers me except you Who do you think knows me? Go easy, no one is paying attention I promise you, it's not hard, at least for you Be comfortable away from you and your world No one comes to your place, I long for your tomorrow I promise you, it's not hard, at least for you Be comfortable away from you and your world No one comes to your place, I long for your tomorrow The path is the same, but the destination is separate You want to remember the object, but your heart burns You pretend to love this game every day Do not be afraid, everyone will be excited until the end Forget about these worries for two days I promise you, it's not hard, at least for you Be comfortable away from you and your world No one comes to your place, I long for your tomorrow I promise you, it's not hard, at least for you Be comfortable away from you and your world No one comes to your place, I long for your tomorrow From love, you took everything I knew from me, you remained, you took my feelings from me Do you want to be me? Remember, there is. You are not ready to go Do not be afraid at all, go without me, no one remembers me except you Who do you think knows me? Go easy, no one is paying attention I promise you, it's not hard, at least for you Be comfortable away from you and your world No one comes to your place, I long for your tomorrow I promise you, it's not hard, at least for you Be comfortable away from you and your world No one comes to your place, I long for your tomorrow The path is the same, but the destination is separate

I have heard that flamenco music has its roots in Persian music because after the Muslim occupation of Spain Iranian culture was spread with them.

The link between persian music and spanish is in the Guitar itself, It is actually made after Arabic Oud, Which itself was transported in Arabic culture after Persian "Barbat", An ancient Lute shape instrument. So there are some kind of complicated link to the music of all these cultures

🌹✌ The lyrics of the song 'I promise you' By Mohsen Yeganeh You wanna become a memory but fail and show off to love me as your daily games Don’t fear as everyone worries at the time of leaving and these worries will perish turn into memos over a couple of days I bet it's no hard at least for you, mellow out as I'm far off from you & your world Don’t worry, no one would replace you, I got worries for your tomorrow I promise it's not hard ,at least for you, mellow out as I'm far off from you & your world Don’t worry, no one would replace you, I got worries for your tomorrow On loving you, I took all I had You just remained and you took my feelings And wish to keep up yourself and forget our being us and you are ready to leave off but your fears hinder you Don’t be all scared and get off without me as no one remembers me but you You thought who would know of me, just leave as no one gets to know this I promise it's not hard, at least for you, mellow out as I'm far off from you & your world Don’t ever worry, no one would replace you, I got worries for your tomorrow I promise it's not hard, at least for you, mellow out as I'm far off from you and your world and in search of you Don’t ever worry, no one would replace you, I got worries for your tomorrow Our path was the same but the destination off part with the heart full off sorrows oh my God 》apanama《👉👉👉

The Spanish music as we know is mainly Flamingo or Flaminco, which is mostly done by the Gypsies who are Indo-Aryan ethnic group andhave originally migrated from India around 9-10 centuries ago and went through Iran to all over Europe and some end up in Spain.....The Gypsies' music and dance have developed through centuries and were picked up and mixed up from different countries that they went through. Just thought to share a bit of info that I have learnt.

The reason Spain has a lot of influences from the Middle-East is because the Moors occupied Andalusia for some 800 years, so you it's no wonder that you see a lot of art, music, food, and architectural influences from them in Spain.
