This song was performed in Wacken Open Air in 2013, together with Floor Jansen, the 3rd and present female singer of the band, in front of an 82K audience. About the instrumental and vocal added parts - it's good to know they recorded their orchestral and vocal back tracks with prestigious institutions as London Philharmonic Orchestra. London's The Metro Voices choir group and London's Young Musicians Children's Choir as their regular partners. ... Tuomas Holopainen, the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. [The 1st Bassist of the band was Sami Vanska, he was with them until 2001. The 2nd one was Marco Hietala, as Bassist and vocals, since 2001 to 2020. He recently announced his retirement both from the band and the public life for the next year at least - we'll see what the future brings to us. Then very recently (May 2021) Jukka Koskinen became the 3nd Bassist of the band, for at least the Human :II: Nature tour] And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen . Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrumentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen is the drummer. In 2015 due to Jukka's health issues Kai Hahto became the drummer and as of now is a permanent addition. Nightwish has had three singers. 1st one was Tarja Turunen (Operatic vocals). She was with them until 2005. The 2nd one was Anette Olzon from Sweden (Poppy, strong vocals). She was with them until 2012.The 3rd and current singer is Floor Jansen, from Netherlands (power, operatic, soprano.....most versatile) - you just heard her. Late to the party. Just found you guys. Fun fact if you didn’t know already: this video was filmed in Wacken (Vau-ken) Open air , its a Heavy Metal Festival in Germany. Dubbed The Holy Ground, it’s 4 days long (camping) with 150 bands on the lineup holding 85,000 people. If you or anyone ever has a chance to go, do it. That’s enough if my rambling. Great response. Although the band itself is from Finland, their 3rd lead singer Floor Jansen (pronounced: yahn-Sen) is not. She is from the Netherlands, but lives with her Swedish husband Hannes van Dahl (drummer of the Swedish band Sabaton) and daughter in Sweden. I'd like to advertise you to do another reaction about "Storytime" by Nightwish, performed at that same Wacken Open Air festival 2013 concert (in front of an 82k+ audience)
