First Time Reaction to “The Truth Untold” Lyric Video! SO MANY CHILLS!

It all starts in a city / village north of Italy (15th/16th century). And in the village, is a small isolated castle, and in the castle, was an ugly guy. No one knows anything about the guy. This guy was so ugly, that he had to hide in the shadows. He came from a powerful family, but he shunned away. He eventually fell in love with the gardener's daughter. The only thing that gave him joy, was gardening. But one day, a girl came to the man's garden / hiding place, and stole flowers. The guy was furious and spied over his flowers at night. Then, she came back and stole some more flowers. It kept on happening for a few days, until the man got curious and night, he pretended to sleep. He saw the girl again, but this time, when the girl left, he covered himself with a blanket and followed. By following her, he found out that she was poor and ill and the only way for her to survive was to sell the stolen flowers. Seeing here like this, he wanted to help her out in every way. But he was too afraid that she would be scared of him. He could only keep on growing flowers. He suddenly has the idea to create a non-existent flower, that she could sell at a more expensive price. After several tries, he finally created the perfect flower. He was excited, he planted them and grew many of them. He waited for the girl, but she didn't come. No matter how long he waited, she didn't come. Then he went looking for her, but he realized what happened. He was too late. She died.

The story is about a man who was ugly and people was afraid of him so he was wearing a mask always and live alone and he loved to grow roses . There was a girl who came everyday to take his roses so he was angry but then he know she was selling the roses for money as she was poor . He loved her and decided to grow a very expensive roses for her to sell them but he was afraid to tell her that he love her bc of his face . One day she didn't came to pick the roses as usual so he went to see her but she was dead and he felt sorry for not telling her that he loves her . Wow I’m so impressed at how quickly you get the meanings of the song...the little details that a lot of reactors missed. You are right...this is a story from Italy about an ugly man who had to wear masks and the girl that used to steal flowers from him. I see others have given more details. I of course only realized after reading comments in other videos! You have to seethe live performance...don’t really know which one is the best but I’m sure others will give you a link. The other amazing song by the vocal line is house of cards...fantastic vocal performance by all of them!

This song is about a story wrote by bighit and is so beautifull. The Truth Untold is about a little story that took place in a city called The city of Smeraldo. It's about a guy who's super ugly so he locked himself up in his castle. His only joy was his flower garden. One day, a woman came in and stole some of his flowers.

This is one of my faaaaaaaaaaavorite songs. Fyi, I saw a few people commenting that this was based on a "true" story, lol. It is based on the story described, but it is not a TRUE story. And in fact the "Italian legend" is is based on isn't a real legend...it was created by BigHit for the Bangtan Universe established in the Smeraldo blogs, a little known online part of the storyline.

Besides the story that it’s about. The flower that he makes for her is the esmerelda flower for the bu storyline. Andddd even crazier is the big hit had made a twitter account and blog acting like the flower shop owner and would post things to weave in with the storyline as well. The flower truck in the highlights reel is driven by this “person”. Yrs back they even picked random armys to send a special flower to and really mailed lucky few this item.

The song is based on La Citta de Smeraldo where there was a guy who was hiding in his castle because he was disfigured. Then a poor girl was picking his flowers, and at first he was angry but then he fell in love. He found out that she was taking the flowers to sell to fund for her family so he created the flower Smeraldo that she can sell for a higher price but then she never returned. The song is based on a true story way back in 1500's - 1600's it takes place in a small town in italy the story's about an 'ugly' man who hid in an old castle alone. Because of his looks he received lots of hate & cruelty while growing up. He never opened his heart to anyone. Whenever they tried to approach him, he hid in anger. His happiness was to plant flowers in his garden. One day a woman appeared near the man's castle. She jumped over the garden fence and stole a flower. This angered the man at first. So he watched his garden all night. But when he fell asleep, the woman took another flower. This continued for several nights. The man pretended to be asleep and watched the woman steal a flower. He started becoming curious about the woman. He began waiting for her. Without realizing he kept waiting for her to come and the next day seemed a little brighter. Following after her one day he realized that she was selling the flowers that she stole from him to make a living. The man desperately want to help the woman but he was afraid she would be terrified by the way he looks. He knew she would not love his 'grotesque' appearance. He came to a conclusion that the only way he would be able to help her is to let her continue stealing flowers from his garden. The man decided to make a flower that doesn't exist on the planet. So that the woman could sell them at a expensive price. He began to make the flower in his castle. After many unsuccessful attempts, the man made a flower that didn't exist and filled his garden. But the woman stopped coming. No matter how long he waited she never came to his garden. He eventually found out that the woman had died.
