He’s a very interesting character. If you solely look at the trailer or solely do the story-background of his, you see two different aspects of him- a caring, wish-fulfilling version from the story, a calculating, determined person from the trailer. I think that contrast makes his character especially intriguing.

For me his personality fits the character, he is supposed to be a genius and more or less 80% of the genius have peculiar personalities and that makes a character interesting.

I’m not saying that his personality doesn’t fit his character, just that it’s very interesting to see more facets of a person’s personality than just one(which is, sadly, something rather common in most stories). Besides, the personality doesn’t really clash. It just seems like different masks- like, I dunno, seeing Jiyan in doctor mode instead of his usual general mode(if he has one that is different).

@@knyx9969 I think that in this kind of games is very hard to see that because the time of screen for the characters is very short, so we don't have enough time te see characters behavior. I mean we can make a assumption about how is a character for what we see in some missions but that's it. Is hard to see a full personality display in these games, in wuwa case for example, Chixia is always happy., fun and lively, but we don't know if she has other preoccupations or how she behave when she is alone, what she fears, etc. The only exception is the MC that is always on screen and we can see how she/he evolves. For see that kind of things probably we need to go to some triple A games or games more based in story telling.
