For players with skill issues that want to main Danjin, Taoqi is a nice Sub-DPS choice. Her shield mitigates the HP-loss of Danjin's RS and is very easy to use

@@Ire_Naru Taoqi is just a safe sustain resonator. She will not die. So for some fights you can utilize that. Her dps is not bad if you build her right, but she is not fast. So you will simply utilize her to build up the shield most of the time. You can use her in a pinch though, because she's super tanky and has a self heal on a 18 second cooldown. Fights may take longer as there are better options in terms of pure offense (buffs, etc), but utimately it's more important if you can clear things consistently or at all vs maybe being able to do it faster, but failing half the time. If you're a scrub like me and just play Danjin because dps you're going to fail many fights. I don't suck at this game, but Danjin requires you to play top tier level of gameplay at all times. Sometimes I just want to relax. That plus I'm going towards 50 so my reflexes aren't what they used to be. Hah. I suck at parrying.

I LOVE Danjin one of my favorite characters, litterally pulled on event banner just for her and benched many of the 5* I got (got all the copies I needed to max her out), I'm surprised u aren't talking about Sanhua tho especially since she is considered the best 4* dps especially in terms of burst aoe dps. If I remember correctly she also has a similar risk factor as Danjin.

I'd have to point towards Sanhua. She is really good. She is more meant to be a sub dps with a lower on field time before you swap out getting the 38% boost to normal attack damage but she does some really good damage and I wind up using her as much and sometimes more than I do my five stars. For me when I get my level 45 free five star sword she will get her sword first. I have level 25 gold echos on her and with the sword that puts me at around 60 ish % crit rate to 160% some odd crit damage with around 19% boost to normal and heavy attacks and 43% ish frost damage. It will be a while before I can really do proper stat chasing. Really want max dupes for her. She is one of my absolute favorites and hey we even got a copy for free!

I personally invested into YangYang first because of how nice her moves are, then switched to Rover. The high risk high reward setup of Danjin isn't really for me. I found her dps kind of lacking, but maybe I played her wrong. Some characters don't come online unless you put the perfect stats on them. I'm currently at level 60, and have no further resources, but I did unlock 5 star Echos dropping yesterday so that's going to be nice. For now I've built Rover decently, Yinlin decently and put a bit of effort in Verina. I also have Baizhi, but can't invest in her since no resources. Originally I was going to build Jianxin since she dropped for me twice at start, but kind of put her on the side when I was trying newer characters. Since the game comes with so many pulls for free you're going to end up with so many of them it's kinda nuts. For now I'm only missing two characters which is Calcharo and of course Jiyan since he doesn't have a banner right now. Lastly I do like Taoqi. I have built her decently and will likely max her to 60 next before any other character. In terms of effort into building for now: 1. Rover 2. Jinlin 3. YangYang 4. Verina 5. Taoqi 6. Danjin 7. Jianxin 8. everyone else

Yay 4* appreciation video!! I was a Encore main (Sanhua+Verina) in the beginning, but the playstyle was kinda boring. Encore can always deal big dmg from afar, there's no thrill. I picked her because I was a wanderer main in genshin... So I picked Yuanwu to build bc I like the design to main. And after studying how his dmg mainly scale from defense, it was easy and SUPER FUN. I alter between Yuanwu and Calcharo, it was so smooth and fun to play. He can deal big damage when you know when to activate the skill when Forte is full, and the Thunder wedge help even while he's off-field.

I know I'm a month late to the party on Wuwa but now the game is on release version 1.1 and Jinhsi has graced their limited banner this time around and I managed to snag her so now I'm trying to get her weapon as well since it's not as painful to pull for as the weapon banner in Genshin is, and there's no 50/50 so it's guaranteed when pity reaches high enough which is fantastic. That being said, The 4 star gauntlet wearer Yuanwu who was previously one of the WORST characters to play in terms of his kit and his role as sub dps/support has gotten a massive redemption arc in terms of his utility in the form of Jinhsi and how she works. In order for her to do max damage with her ult where she summons Jue to do a massive breath attack which nukes your target and nearby enemies, she needs to have built up 50 stacks of Incandescence to beef up her damage multiplier. It turns out that when set up properly, Yuanwu is able to build up her stacks while she is off field at a rate of 7 stacks per second, letting her max out her meter in just over 7 seconds, so she can be swapped in to drop the nuke almost immediately with very little down time except for her very first rotation to get the ball rolling. Because of this, Yuanwu went from $hit tier to "OMG holy $hit" tier 😂

For Mortefi, another great 4 star weapon is the Novaburst. It'll make him deal more damage as a SubDPS, and with around 30-40% ER, you're more than able to still benefit your Main DPS using him in that sense, though I agree that the Cadenza is also still a very great pistol.

I somehow pulled Jiyan, Yingling(twice so he is c1) and verina as 5star and Taqi(big Oppai girl) Danjin, the pistol user guy with glasses and that Elctro guy(which i think everyone gets for free but I pulled him as well) in 4 stars. I still have my 5 star Choose event which I'm thinking about choosing Encore. My yangyang is c2 and Chixia c1. Based on all this was i lucky? xdd My union level is 21 so i still have around 30-40 free pulls easily (which will go towards the Beginner 5star choose event giving me 100% chance to get her even if I get the very top of the pity)

I literally built everyone to level 50 with a level 50 weapon (no talents yet) before I realized its too expensive to level everyone (I have all the 4*s except Aalto, and I have Jiyan, Jianxin and Kalcharo for 5*s). Chixia deserves an honorable mention, She is weak early and mid, BUT due to how she have rapid fire attack and ResoSkill, her dmg output when she is properly stacked with damaging substats. Her E rapid fire can deal roughly about 40~60% of other DPS character's basic attacks, each hit. Do note that, she is better played with controller.

I like danjin right when I do her tutorial. but my problem with danjin is,,,, my skill issue won't let me finish the combo string loll. I often got cancelled when trying to do 3-3 and even 2-2 combo. I think it's crucial to learn enemies pattern in this game, especially when playing danjin (idk about other characters). anyway, dodging will break the combo right?

Dodging will break the combo but with a perfect dodge or intro skill, you can immediately press your resonance skill twice after the perfect dodge/intro skill to get the same effect as the 2-2 combo. Great ways to keep charging your Forte Circuit in cases you can't get enough basic attacks out (and Forte Circuit generation is doubled when initiating the combo through a perfect dodge once you unlock one of her talents).

Try to use lvl 1 Echo Cruisewing. It heals you for a pretty good amount on a 7 second cd, also is a summon, not a transformation. Danjin also heals herself for half her HP when she has half her . She is a very aggressive unit, she is bad when played passively as her healing works when she is fighting.
