When she records, she sits cross-legged in front of her computer, all by herself. The reason is that the closet at her home wasn't tall enough to sing while standing, so she started singing cross-legged, and now she sings the same way in the studio. By the way, she records her original songs in the studio, but she still records cover songs in her closet at home.

After 24 hours, her « Tcha-Tcha-Tcha-Tcha Na na na na na» is already in my head. She uses what she have inside ; angriness and pure talent. I love how she accelerates after the chainsaw noise^^ and the « sayonara » repeated with the « Kussatta rūru rūru rūru » where she deploys her voice just in the middle of the « sayonaras ». Ado is, for years now, THE Japanese singer to absolutely listen for people who didn’t know music of this country. Great video again❤.

@@Olkam-w5u maybe you’re right. I think people like more rock music than a few years ago. Even if I am a really great fan of this kind of music, we’re speaking about the first Japanese singer that people know worldwide without having a carrer with anime songs only (yes she has done One Piece Red musics and Spy x Family’s third op, but she’s known worldwide because of others songs). Auto-tuning is still very constant in modern music, Japanese one have auto-tuning too (I don’t know in which proportion). That’s why I said that Ado is very unique in her popularity around the World… Cause Japanese songs that we know are from anime, they are different because of the anime sometimes (when they are ordered by animation studios). Ado is not, she spread the Utaite culture around the world, of this magnitude, for the first time.

The way she sings tells a story, but not like musical music, where they're telling the story directly through the lyrics, but she tells a story slightly through the lyrics, mostly in the way that she says the lyrics. A good example of this is through her cover of Aishite, a song about a daughter begging her father to love her that is quickly falling more and more off the deep end through the song, and Ado makes that perfectly clear through how she sings it, her control, or in some cases, lack thereof, and the unhinged way she sings the chorus. The daughter begging, pleading for the father to love her, and doing everything and anything in her power to make him care just a little bit makes such a sad song even more sad, but in a good way, you know.

His covers of WOZWALD, Call Boy and Bitter Choco Decoration are some of my favourites, I don’t really know that much about vocals but his voice has this really whisper-like feeling to it but at the same time it feels so tense, and he keeps this whisper until really late into the song where he just explodes and it’s just so cool 😭😭 I’d love to see what you think of his voice!
