Yeah, things are crazy expensive and you could do it for less, but we want you to be prepared as possible. The better prepared you are, the less likely you’ll end up moving back in!

No, you don't need 10,000 to move out. But you do need to have a few thousand and also make sure that your first apartment doesn't take up more than half of your income.

What’s the difference between NTN report and using the credit karma. My credit karma score is 687 by myself but with the NTN goes down to 630 with my girlfriend he score isn’t as good as mine but this is our 1st apartment

So I just moved into my first apartment and long story short is idk if I'll be here for very long. But at the same time I finally have my own space to decorate.....do I still go all out? Or do I wait till I'm more sure on staying? Could use some tips on what to do bc I'm stressing so much about this 😅

well how long is the lease? if its month to month ur chilling but if you gotta break the lease? that is also expensive. Look into that. Then you will know what to do. Why would you ever want to decorate a place ur not keeping. just make it comfortable

The more the better, but the good starting rule of thumb is 3 months of expenses. So if you’re saving for just rent (even though there’s more expenses than just rent), you’d want to have at least $3,600 saved before you make the leap.
