So crazy how you can go from beaches to the forest mountains of Santa Cruz to rolling hills in the central part of Cali to mountains in less than 5 hours

George - appreciate hearing that with such a new channel I've started here. Mammoth has a different type of dirt for sure. And thanks for sticking around! :)

Glad you survived the black diamond stuff. My favorite trails around Mammoth Mtn are Beach Cruiser, Paper Route, and Downtown. The higher you get on the mountain, the more pumice you get into and it’s slippery. Be careful. Hope you get a chance to ride the Flume Trail in Tahoe…epic! Stay safe, and thanks for taking us along. 😊

Skied there once I. The 80's and mtb raced once in the 90's. it is a cool park and it's great to see how much they've expanded for riders. Fun video btw. I wish I was closer to it.

11:08 Did you ever go back and hit The Drop on Flow on the left? From what I can tell, the drop looks much scarier than it is because of the looong downhill landing, so when you're going over the drop, the ground seems so far away from you, but when hit with moderate speed, it's 'only' about a 5-6 ft drop.

Big thanks for sharing this. We've been taking our little kids to the bike park, for the last 2 years, trying to build their biking skills; so, haven't had a chance to see the more advanced trails. On our way out of the park, a black bear crossed the road and walked right across the Downtown bike trail, which we rode several times, over the last few days. Any tips on mountain bike/bear encounters?
