In Oklahoma the trees are so small you cut them down with a snowblower!

heh i grew up around this sort of equipment. by far my favorite was the bobcat. mostly moving dirt for trails. owned a treefarm.

I haven’t tried any other brands yet, but definitely liked the Bobcat!

Nice Video - and your timing in posting it was great! I'm going to be renting a T870 with a mulcher next weekend. I liked the perspective from inside the cab. It's been almost 40 years since I've been inside a Bobcat, but hopefully I'll pick it up quick. I have about 3.5 acres to clear.

Great! That sounds like a fun project. I really liked the T870. It will probably take a bit to get used to the new style controls, but they are really pretty easy to use.

I'm considering a mulching attachment for either a skid steer or a mini excavator but not sure which to get I do have some open ditches to maintain so I'm leaning towards a mini excavator.

I haven’t personally owned either, and I’ve never operated an excavator version, so I don’t know that I am qualified to help you decide, lol. You know your situation the best.

I keep seeing multiple companies advertising these on facebook. I guess your friend answered my question. Costs $25hr run and makes $150-$250 an hour I've heard. Curious to know how much demand there is for this type of service?
