Excellent video series. However back in gains, fixed or adjustable. At the end you went back to fixed and then at the end of this vid your elevator gains was going nuts. Shouldnt you have set them back to adjustable and kept the gain switch to center? That seem to have setting things down. Let me know bud.

After capturing level flight, I had 0 on pitch and 77 on roll. Receiver is oriented correctly. This doesn't sound right. Please help! Your video presentation is clear and concise and very informative. Keep up awesome work. I wonder if receiver is upside down... its mounted from bottom of ultra stick. I used orientation #5.

1. Flipping the plane upside down and watching the ailerons zip back and forth when you rock it through center doesn't prove that the gyro will put the plane back right-side up. You should just tilt it about 45° from level and make sure the control surfaces will make it go back to level flight. 2. The default pitch limit angles were fine - 65° up and down are way too much. You don't need any more than 45° up and 30° down. I sometimes use 50° up and 45° down on my EDF's. Any more than that and the ailerons won't make them turn. They just do steep knife-edge flight. 3. The default SAFE gains of 35 have nothing to do with the 4X sensitivity in AS3X. 4. None of those menu screens say "SAFE-Select". They just say "SAFE".

Safe is safe select, you have safe, also known as (safe select) and safe plus

@@cooltube "Safe Select" is the bind process (or menu option) that enables the SAFE functions of the receiver. It allows you to disable SAFE mode if all you want is AS3X. With "SAFE Select" enabled, the receiver will have both AS3X and SAFE. SAFE Plus includes geofencing and autoland. "SAFE Select" is a process, not a flight mode.
