That's the nature of a lot of UK sketch shows, present a ludicrous situation, for what it is, then skip straight to another sketch, without having to explain consequences, narratively. It is what it is.

British culture and comedy is steeped in “class” differences. It is not determined by wealth so much as before, but still exists absolutely.

Humor like this isn't out dated. Its because of the new "woke" society. Its just humour end of...it shows the absurd side of life and thats why its funny.

The foreign speaking sketch took ages to film as the Chinese woman was laughing so much. The black guy could hardly contain his laugh as they had filmed this just after lunch. They had caterers in and they gave him the wrong sandwich hence the reference.

Geordies are basically Scottish. Their slang and dialect is very very similar to what you find in south east Scotland for obvious reasons. The only real difference is the cadence of the accent.

A play on the stereotypical north south divide, the rich people in the south traditionally had a poor image of people in the north which is more industrial. Basically all her characters are just dreadful people. :)

The humour hasn't dated, it's just that people are too bloody fragile these days. You're offended? Well so what? If you can't laugh at yourself you're living a second rate life.
