One of my brothers lives in Northern Ireland - he was married to an Irish lady who sadly passed a while ago. But the accent is great ❤❤

She hits every stereotype about gay men in this one - we know everything about fashion, we think about sex all the time, we know about interior design...

I never get tired of this (or any Catherine Tate comedy)! The woman on the balcony (from Game of Thrones) is Michelle Fairley. She is brilliant in everything she does!

Great funny reaction 😊 British humour is unbelievable lol. Aussie here, I love British comedy. They get away with more than more than most countries and it’s so funny. Normally it into that humour, but they way they do it is brilliant.

There’s no offensiveness in this sketch, you’ve entirely missed the point. Neither is there sarcasm as such only positive satire. This debunks stereotypical homophobia completely!

Tate is a legend, a genius and a totally versatile actor. Yep, it's Northern Ireland. I can imagine her character here on an almost continuous rant! This lampoons gay stereotypes, while seeming to endorse them, in much the same way that Sacha Baron Cohen, Al Murray et al do with stereotypes/attitudes in general. If you liked this, and haven't already, check out her skit, "Detective Sergeant Sam Speed," and, of course Derek Faye, a gay man who insists that he isn't gay! Bloody hilarious! 😉😉

Northern Ireland has in some areas strong religious communities. It's not so much if you are gay or not it's more so if you are Catholic or Protestant that is the concern.

You will know I think, that the British use humour like this to make 'stereotypes' seem ridiculous

I really enjoyed your reaction and analysis which I fully agree with . I was hesitant about watching your video because you had a British flag at the start and as this was set in Belfast, Ireland, that flag represents past oppression to many of us.
