He is one of the best vocalist in K-pop. The song was written for his former girlfriend (who is now his wife). He broke up with her and used this song to get her back (she is the photo of the woman that is burning at the end of the video). Today they are happily married and have one child. he was supposed to be in a rap duo with G-Dragon but at the last minute, YG entertainment said, no, you're going to be in BigBang. Check him and G-Dragon out on their MAMA performance of Good Boy. It is amazing. Lots of other great solo Taeyang songs include RingaLinga, 1 AM, etc.

He wrote this song after break up with his girlfreind(his wife now). He is main vocal in bigbang. All of bigbang members have strong solo activity. You have to check daesung solos too. Like anymore, wings, dday, shut up and very recent songs falling slowly and flow

Big Bang is how I got into kpop around 2007 or 2008.After that I didn’t get back into kpop until I discovered Stray Kids.Tae Yang was my crush, and now it’s Bang Chan and Lee Know haha

@@marksmith8210 to my knowledge, Taeyang didn't start off as main vocal initially, but ended up taking many of the main vocal roles later on. Their Korean profiles lists Taeyang as Main vocal/Main dancer and Daesung as Lead vocal.

You can find videos made by fans with the lyrics translated and live performances videos with english subtitles on KZbin. Taeyang solo style is R&B and he made it popular in Korea . He is quite faithful to old school R&B . Apart for his work in BigBang he has 4 solo albums and 2 solo world tours . His latest album Down to Eart was released last year . Dorian Gray fan chanel has the best performances of BigBang with subtitles. For a different style of song you can try Ringa Linga and GDragon and Taeyang performance of Good Boy at MAMA Awards 2014 . Dorian has it with sub . You can also try BigBang rapper TOP singing Act like nothing is wrong and Doom Dada at 0 to 10 concert on same fan chanel .

I highly recommend watching the Tablo x Taeyang version of this song (Eyes, Nose, Lips). Tablo is a famous korean hip hop rapper from the group Epik High. Big Bang and Epik High had huge influences on BTS. Also, the song is entirely in English. It's got a great rock vibe to it. Try this one. I think you'll enjoy. 💜
