They also have Zero quarter and 5th Quarter performances where the two bands take turns playing songs. Zero quarter is before the game begins and 5th quarter is after the game ends. But the best is the field show at halftime.

Wow! They are so good. I love the band, and I'm a big fan of drums, trumpets, clarinets, and flutes. The girls were good, but the 5 guys in the front...amazing! Thanks for sharing this video with us.

Ricky and Carol, since you all seem to enjoy watching videos of HBCU marching bands, I think you two might enjoy watching the movie Drumline. The storyline of the movie is centered around marching band culture at HBCUs and, more specifically, the competition that exists between drumlines. Just a movie suggestion that I thought you guys might get a kick out of watching. Also, Beyoncé’s Coachella performance is another video you all might like. Beyoncé’s performance during that show incorporated a marching band and, in many ways, highlighted and celebrated HBCU marching band culture. If you all decide to check one or both of these suggestions out, I hope you both enjoy watching them.

Come to Mardi Gras in New Orleans... You'll see bands, bands, bands.. We have nearly 100 parades during the Carnivale Season. Local and national high school bands, colleges and universities, and thousands of floats with riders who got throws........"THROW ME SOMEIN' MISTA'."

I LOVE that you guys enjoy marching bands. My college was too small to have one but I played trumpet and horn (mellophone) for 4 years in high school and we went to competitions all the time.

Thanks for your interest in the HBCU bands and culture. Every year there is a National HBCU Battle of the Bands. To see the field shows, search TY for - HBCU Battle of the Bands Field Shows. This will be representative of the halftime shows. Of course, being from Louisiana and only 50 miles from Baton Rouge, I am partial to Southern University Human Jukebox.

If you have a chance you should watch videos of the Annual "Gathering of Nations Pow Wow" in NM!!! It is the world's largest Native American pow wow, features singing, horse/rider parade and native dancing!!! You will love it!!!

This isn't quite marching into THEE Vet, but I did say on the Alcorn video that you seen to see JSU matching into or out of the stadium. You should see who in your country can fly the Boom over

You should watch Norfolk state Band at the 2024 Rose Bowl Parade. Watch the video by Tony Harrison. Also watch Jackson State Band at University of Las Vegas so you can see them in action in the stands during an actual game. It's electronic

You should also check out other HBCU’s such as Atlanta A & T University, Southern University , Grambling State University, Texas Southern University.

There is no Atlana A&T. You get all your knowledge from movies? That's a fictional institution. I went to Morehouse College (part of the AUC) and am intimately familiar with all of the schools in the area😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
