27:00 I need to speak precisely and in exact terms here. There are a few reasons why membership in the military is declining. One is age, the further you get from the Great Wars of the 20th century, the more people forget why the phrase "To get peace, prepare for war". The horrors of WW2 are just stories to most, and a far distant memory for the few left that lived thru it. The Second is our geography. We have the would largest moat almost surrounding the country. and there isn't a power on our land mass that could challenge the military for more than a weekend. So there is not feeling of imminent threat. In Europe, you guys are so much closer to the chaos. There was a revival after 9/11 but much of that was squandered during Gulf War 2 (Iraq 2004), that war being cause by 60 years of Middle East Policies that was more determined to stop Soviet Expansion than anything else. Today there is just a general sense of distrust in the government by the youth of any and all political ideologies in the US, that the "call to serve" just isn't there in many non-military families. That being said, the US government has made it easier today to serve in different ways such as the peace core, out-reach programs, NGO's like the Red Cross or Doctors without boarders, now there is more to severing your country then with a rifle.

Thank you for this video. I am a 67 year old Christian man and U.S. citizen. I tear up every time I hear the national anthem. Our country was founded by great sacrifice of many brave men and women. My ancestors came to the US in the early 1600’s and I’m sure that many of them fought and died for our country. We must never forget the sacrifices that they made!

I was Navy from 89 through the gulf conflict and Those carriers are indeed massive. The GF may be able to run indefinitely but the equipment it hosts is still conventional and requires fuel. Im not sure if theyve put a refinery on board, some things are still classified. It does have a 300 kilowatt DEW that is VERY effective against hyper sonic weaponry. My great grandad, my grandad, his sons, their sons(me included) and my son have served our great Constitution. 5 generations of warfighters. My grandad was an E9 at retirement. America loves its military because we know it does actually protect the world alongside its own shores. Imagine shipping without the US Navy... And now we have an actual leader in Trump. We only ask for fair and reciprocal treatment, and no more brandishing our power through obstructive and intrusive agencies like USaid is on the block. Please bear with us as we strive to right ourselves after decades of our government abusing its position, even to its own citizens.

what a complete coup mess this country is in right now. SHOCKING! Countries, most importantly our trusted allies who stood beside us, fight FOR US and with us, are booing the American flag and national anthem all over the world. What a shameful people we've become.

If you want a perspective as to why Toby and others are so thankful and supportive of our men and women in the US Military react to some videos about Arlington National Cemetary to see the price paid for our freedom. It is massive and if you travel to the US it is a destination that is hard to appreciate until you go see it in person. Rip Toby, we got it from here sir!!!

You can melt the Velveeta and add some Hatch green Chile to make a good dip for chips. Hatch is a small town in southern New Mexico. My family used to go up there when the chile was being harvested and we would come home with 150 lbs of chile. We really liked chile! I like cowboy candy on the top of crackers and cream cheese

You can take the spam and dice it to small square pieces and fry then pour your scrambled eggs on them to cook them through. Good for breakfast by itself or in a burrito with the cheese and hatch peppers.

Feel very sorry for Americans and their tornados. In Australia we get cyclones just about every year. Last Christmas we remembered the 50th anniversary of "Cyclone Tracey", one the worst that hit our Northern Territory capital city called Darwin. It hit on Christmas Eve 1974, These were the days before mobile phones, all communications with Darwin were lost for hours. Eventually, they found a light plane at the airport and used the radio to get the word out. Here is a recent documentary for you to review. It was horrific. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKbYdoCOhJV_ZrM

I was in marching band in grades 8 - 12 and football season brought after school practice every day to prepare the halftime show. It was always fun to perform once we got it right. It takes a lot of time to get the rough edges out.

personally, i would recommend scv (santa clara vanguard) 2024 show for you to check out. they won the award for best in percussion for that season. if you enjoy the drumming side of this activity, i would also highly suggest that you watch some indoor percussion (wgi) shows. there are some really cool ones out there. if you would like a recommendation from me, i would highly suggest center grove’s 2024 show “reign.”

Funny enough that last portion about not meeting recruitment goals has drastically changed since Trump won in November. The Army has already said it's over half way to reaching its yearly recruitment numbers and we are in February. They are also building additional training bases in two States to increase how many can be trained at once.
