hey yusuf, you went to the right place for the original Bubur Lambuk in Butterworth... the masjid's bubur lambuk was the most delicious Bubur Lambuk, (or maybe because it is the first bubur lambuk i've ever had my whole life) my late father used to get a pack or two from this masjid for us to have it during iftar, more than 30 years ago... (miss him) the recipe obviously infused by the Indian Muslims community surrounding the Masjid. the reason why the spices are so rich...

The spice that you didn’t recognise was halba (fenugreek), hard yellowish substance. It has a distinct flavour and aroma. Normally used in the making of nasi dagang.

actually its daily routine during ramadhan. everyone may join local communities or masjid everyday to help prepare meal for iftar.
Salaam brother George Yusuf...do come experience Iftar at Masjid Abdullah Fahim.. a grand mosque located at Kepala Batas. Do come early ..food distribution started at 1815hr...usually finished within 20-30minutes due to large crowd.

Cuba tgk betul2 balik. Jangan sampai timbul fitnah. Betul, makcik tu letakkan atas lantai TETAPI, yg dimasukkan didalam periuk tu, dia basuh dahulu dan carik2 kan menggunakan tangan dan terus masukkan didalam periuk. Bukannya basuh dan letak semula di atas lantai. Guna mata lihat betul2.
