Good sushi is usually Rp 40k++ / roll, or Rp 20k/ single sushi. Just dont expect anything decent if it's below that trust me, the cheaper it is the more you have to get away from it 😂👌🏻

So I already saw some comments pointing this out: but maybe in Indonesia they don't have a 'taste' for sweet and vinegar tastes so putting sweetened vinegar in sushi isn't common there. I bet you if you go to a more expensive place you will find some because they will cater to authentic. I've had gas station store sushi and it was very dry, and bland but even at a grocery store, called "Wegmans" I find authentic sushi as the venue is part of a chain of restaurants and they make sushi FOR Wegmans using/renting small kitchen space. So just look to see if there are sushi chefs and you should be fine no matter the cost. Like Wegmans is $6-11/per 8 piece roll which isn't bad. In restaurant it can go up to $20 for a 8 piece volcano roll. I'm sure there's something similar going on like that in Indonesia :).

Coco & Leon, You can try one of the best traditional Babi Guling that locals really enjoy. Hardly any tourist know this place. The name is Warung Babi Guling Bu Made. It’s located in Jl. Raya Kuta No. 29. Since it’s a traditional place, there’s no music. The price is affordable too!

Not really, matcha has lil bit salty flavor for me. But the green tea just like "tea", and mostly "green tea" drinks in Indonesia use "green tea syrup", not the powder one. So it can't basically called "matcha" at all.
