Haley...when i first started driving, my dad taught me how to check the oil...He said to check it once a week...well, I didnt do it and it ended up being 2 quarts low...when i told my dad, he took my car away for a week ..needless to say i learned my lesson...now, every Saturday morning, i check my oil...that was 45 years ago...just get into the routine...easy peasy...😊

I'm hoping with as much help as it seems (not assuming) as the other teens have had with getting their cars, hopefully they can at least help Savannah get her AC fixed if not getting a newer vehicle right away. AZ heat is too brutal to drive around with little to no AC

@@tleej81 I’m sure they’re working on getting her a/c fixed. I’m sure it just recently broke… they wouldn’t let her go that long without it. It’s not always easy to get all the parts. Like in max’s case it’s taken him a long time to fix his truck and he also had no a/c

@aliciabellante6643 I wouldn't let her go any length of time at all without it, it's too hot there. I wasn't criticizing them, just made a comment. I'm glad you're sure of what they're doing, you must know them really well 👍. Oh...and yes while parts could essentially take time to get, Max's truck is no comparison. His truck is a little more difficult to get parts based off it's age while Savannah's car is not quite there yet. Max not having AC was also his own choice 😉 Have a great day!

Here n Tennessee it’s called inspection done every few months. It’s lights , brakes, emissions, emergency brakes etc. it was always a long line . To get n early u needed to get n line early in the morning. We never had to get out of the car. We don’t have inspections now. Addison was really into that roll up. 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤

Here in NY, we do a yearly inspection. You can get a ticket if your inspection is expired. You have until the last day of the month on your sticker. That's when the lines are extremely long. I get my oil changed every 5K miles. It's never good to let it get too low. 😕

Bella, you can ask for rice without cilantro in it, but they always act like you just asked them to give up their next five paychecks when you do ask them. I HATE cilantro so I always ask for the cilantro free rice, and just give them a nice tip at the end. Also, if you put sour cream on your burrito that might make it taste more sour. After I had Covid there were/still are a number of things I can no longer eat and sour cream is one of them. It just taste rancid now.

It's great Aaron is showing Savannah how to check oil & top it up but Savannah should have done that under Aaron's direction. It's good for them to learn simple vehicle maintenance. I had a hard time remembering to check the oil when I was a new driver. I love that the cousins like hanging out tog.

Intersting. I have owned my car for 8.5 years now and I never check my oil level. I just go for an oil change every 10,000km as per the vehicle recommendations. I'll have to check with my stepfather (who used to be a mechanic) and see if I too should be checking my cars oil level from time to time.

Savannah, I live in Albuquerque, NM and while not nearly as hot as the Mesa/Phoenix area we have had our days of 100+°. including the ridiculous humidity we've had this year that I am just not used to. The AC in my car went out right when we were getting into the hottest days of the summer and I thought I was going to die. I called my mechanic crying, lol. I told him I couldn’t live without AC, especially driving around my little nephews and nieces. PTL he fixed it and let me pay off the bill in payments. I don’t know how you’re living in Mesa/Phoenix area without the AC blowing directly in your face! My sister-in-law and nephews live in Surprise, AZ. i visited them in October a few years ago, and I spent my entire visit indoors.

Did you guys ever go watch the movie? Fixing a car is not a easy thing to figure out. You can learn it and get it, but not remembering it on your own or not remembering how is done correctly even if you know what is what. Adulting is a full on learning process of everyday struggles that will never end. Always learning new things and new ways pretty much everyday.

I think it would be such a neat idea to get the cousins together like how y'all do at the cousin gift exchage but instead, have one family of kiddos (example Crazy Middles kids) each write down a fun activity. Without the other family kiddos (example Crazy Pieces) knowing who wrote each activity. Then the other familys kiddo (example Crazy Pieces kiddos) thats first to say they want to do that activity - the kiddo that wrote that activity down from Crazy Middles and the kiddo from Crazy Pieces that first said they want to go on that activity, go on an adventure doing that! Ideas could be Tye Dying, Bracelet Making, Race to build small Lego kit, Cake Baking, Painting Shoes, Decorate an art piece for their rooms, Canvas Craft, Trampoline Park, Glow in the Dark Swim Party, Hot Wheel Race, Water Ballon Fun, Cup Cake/Cookie Decorating, Create Sundaes, Girl Makeovers, Make a favorite Dish and have a panel of judges, etc. It would be a great bonding experience, I think! 💖
