After helping me move into my dorm room my family never saw the inside of my room again. Same with my roomate's parents. That's just how it is. It's for the best though... one never knows what they might see in a college kids room ;) However fam was always welcome to come see us to take us out to eat and take us shopping ha ha!

it's the weather. His skin is used to cold weather and the humid weather does that to your skin (i live in cancun and that happens to me, and cold weather clears it)

My first college roommate used to leave his clothes on the floor , my second kept trying to convert me and my last was the best. It’s a good experience but better if you room with someone you never met before. I knew friends who roomed with their best friend and found out it’s a lot different to live with someone then single night sleepovers growing up.

when i was in college in florida parents always were in and out of the dorms, we just gave our roommates a heads up like "At 3 my mom is coming over" that sorta thing. some students had their parents spend a night in the dorm which i thought was weird but whatever lol

When I was in college, it was ok for the 'Rents to see the Dorm or Apartment, but not to stay there. It is customary for you to pay for the dinner with the friends. My parents also would take me shopping while visiting for whatever I needed. Some of my friends had parents who insisted on staying in their kids apartments and that didn't work out so well. So just stay at a hotel. Don't be really critical about clenliliness.
