They are actually doing a modern redo of this fight that will be releasing on December 4th. Death Battle has grown a lot since this came out about 10 years ago. They have a new team, new way of researching things, and new outlooks on certain feats and inclusions of material. I recommend checking it out if you want to learn their new opinion on the fight, even if the victor is likely not to change.

This fight is as accurate as the actual fight would go lol goku has never shown any of the feats that Superman has not only has Superman held an infinite amount of pages from a book but he also has no concept of speed he can literally go back in time with just his speed and now no matter how far u are from him he can just be there, goku is no Mach for Superman

This was not an accurate death battle goku would rip out Supermans heart if we go with db gt and cartoon/animated series for the justice league even a good few versions of comic Supermans get folded by goku, Base goku in GT as a kid was strong enough to shake all of hell which the afterlife is stated to be a transcendental realm, not to mention he 1 shot limbo, he dismantled the sigma force which r stronger than buu who was stated to be able to make the Universe go poof and this was reference to the living world which holds multiple space times meaning it's a 4D construct, He's speed during the buu saga in base is infinite but as a low ball it's 4 quadrillion times light speed, his Speed would increase by +400x since in GT his base is stronger than his ssj3 against buu meaning his Speed at the bare minimum would be 1.6 quintillion times light speed at the start of GT he gets billions of times stronger throughout the series Not to mention they got the ssj4 multiplier wrong cuz at the low end it's a 400,000x multipler but even that's close to being wrong since there's more evidence for it to be a 1.6bil multipler on top of base form

@@bybshenanigans he is and the fact that him holding back is because he's too strong for his opponent but goku doesn't need to hold back cuz he's trying to beat his opponents into submission and he can sense their power so he knows when they're at their limit and how much they can take but there's the other factor, jus because ur holding back doesn't mean u hav an infinite pool of energy hidden not unlike db which clearly shows a being with infinite power can hold back enough to not kill a being of a lower infinity example Beerus and Tien, When they tried to atk him he would've killed them with a single atk but he has such insane lvl of ki control that he can hold back serveral infinites of his power, Not to mention Superman even if we say he only uses 1/1000 of his strength that would not qualify him for infinite 3D or High Universal since u need to be able to destroy an infinite 3D construct which base goku in GT is easily capable of doing as he was able to violently shake hell jus by powering up and hell is said to be a transcendental realm above space time meaning it's a 5D construct If u still don't get any of it then I can clarify more if needed

@@bybshenanigans People constantly ignore that superman's creator said that superman is as strong as he needs to be. That means he always has the plot armor to win which is why superman is so boring. There are some comics where he is even faster than flash who literly runs faster than teleportation which is ridculous.

Idk if you know this but Superman has way better feats than anything goku has ever done not only does Superman have immeasurable speed but he was also able to hold an infinite amount of pages from an infinite book and now distances doesn’t even matter to Superman anymore he can be at the edge of the universe and be in-front of earth instantly with just his speed alone Superman has irrelevant speed and goku is barely mftl++
