Please react to a movie called How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies. It's a Thai movie, it centered around a young male who, after received news that his grandma got diagnosed with cancer, decided to take care of his grandma while he himself trying to secure his inheritance from his grandma. This movie is a seriously tear-jerker movie, full of family-themed lessons and, I can dare to say, this movie is a lot better than any family movies that you've ever seen or reacted before.

The first Despicable Me movie is probably the one movie kid me watched the most. Not only is it legit funny with a great main character and iconic villain alongside the Minions who were plot relevant and entertaining, but it’s also pretty heartwarming with Gru wanting to stop villainy and be a better person in the end

This movie is so good, regardless of where illumination went afterwards, they hit it out if the park right out the gate. One fact about it though that still throws me: Grus mom was voiced by none other than Mary Poppins herself, Julie Andrews

I really enjoyed the conversation at the end, especially talking about generational trauma. I always acknowledged Gru’s relationship with his mom and how it wasn’t the best, but I never thought about the term generational trauma. That’s exactly what it is. A lot of our parents grew up a certain way, in a certain time and many of them were just emotionally absent towards their children. While it definitely isn’t the top of the list when it comes to trauma, it’s definitely something that a person takes with them to adulthood and can mirror when they have their own children. Watching Gru at the end of this movie embracing the girls and loving them openly is a great feat since he never got that affection from his parent. I never thought about that side of things. It’s really sweet and beautiful to see
