First Time Watching "Dwight K. Schrute" - The Office

I didn’t find the show funny until i took the time to actually watch it. You have to know the context behind each character and their interactions. But once you give it a chance it’s hands down one of the best shows to hit a tv screen.

I agree. Years ago when it came out I would see little bits of it. And I thought that kinda looks dumb. Then last year my son talked me into watching it with him. I was hooked! One of my favorites!

One thing this is missing is the context behind a lot of the jokes, just like most of the office videos, unless you’ve watched the series. Hard to get the buildup of Dwight’s authority complex, or his obvious gullibility

This show got me through one of my husband's multiple deployments to the war, and I've since watched it with my teenage son. It's truly brilliant. Dwight K. Shrute... great character. They were all great.

I am loving this. Listen - I watched the office so much during my pregnancy that my baby was soothed by the theme music once he was born. If he was fussy at night, I’d just play the office and he would go to sleep. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣🤷🏼‍♀️

Dwight K. Shrute over Martin makes sense if you include Moes in the jokes lol. That dynamic is hilariously creepy. Dwight being funnier than the wayans brothers though? I dunno about that. In Living Color, several of their movies and alot of their other tv work over the years is just brilliant. I am not joking when I say that Blankman is one of my favorite superhero movies of all time lol. I forgot how epic that movie was until I rewatched it about 6 months ago. Dwight is a disturbingly, weirdly almost real pennsylvania character. Almost like he was supposed to be german amish and everyone died and left him the farm lol...
