Han is alive in this one because as the end of Tokyo Drift when Dom Showed up he referenced having a past with Dom, Tokyo Drift takes place AFTER 6 and Before 7, thats why they have Hans funeral at the beginning of 7.

This basically was the Avengers of the Fast and Furious series. While some people don't like 2 and 4, they are totally worth watching just for the characters that you meet in those, which makes it that much rewarding when they all come together here. I personally think 1-5 is a great set of movies on its own, 6 and on is when we get extra silly, but still super fun

I love this movie, it is the turning point for the series into basically a superhero heist franchise, where the superpower is ignoring physics with cars. This one is easily in my top list of movies to turn on when I just want to have a good time.

Fun fact: The bank vault scene through brazil is not CGI. Its all practical. They had a driver in the vault( The vault was basically a chopped up car) in the normal driving scenes and used a real vault for the destruction.

This film is literally GOATED. Best fast an furious movie by far, not too over the top but still doing crazy shit. Also this is the only one that the rock isn’t just being the rock, hobbs in the movie was actually insane and you could feel his no fucks given attitude. Hobbs becomes a meme in later movies which sucks.

the fight scene between Dom and Hobbs was real, they had a disagreement on set that gave way to a feud, when it came for the fight scene, they didn't hold back on each other, not sure if they have buried it or not, but it made for a brilliant scene

I remember walking out of the theater after watching this for the first time and just feeling so amped up. Such a good movie. This is one of those franchises that I will just watch again and again. It's not the same without Paul Walker (R.I.P.), but still pretty good. I'll continue to watch them for as long as they make them.

So there is an order to the franchise. They created a timeline to link all the events and character interactions and appearances. From here on out, you will start seeing the movies connect but yes Tokyo Drift is taking place at a different point in the timeline which is why Han is still alive here.

Yo Seb, theres a film with Han in it outside of the Fast and Furious movies. Its called 'Better Luck Tomorrow', and the Han in that movie and these movies are the exact same person / character. Pretty good watch, I recommend it. You learn about what Han did before he met Dom and stuff.

This one is generally regarded as the best film in the series, certainly the best one of the "new generation" where the series transitioned from being a street racing franchise to being an action film franchise. the Sixth one is also good and a decent part of the seventh movie is fine, but the seventh movie is also where the franchise mutates into a superhero series and it just becomes stupid.

We have officially hit that point where the stunts and action kick it up a few levels. Fun fact, that final scene where they are dragging the vault through town, that was done for real with practical effects. Also another fun fact, science testing has proven that a pair of Dodge Chargers like those, CAN drag that vault. HOWEVER, they would only be able to move it at about 3 mph.

The safe dragging will always be super cool to me since most of it was practical and not CGI. (Most of the destruction was) they had a modified car and built a fake safe around it so they could drive the safe behind the two lead cars with the appearance of being dragged.

This film gave us two more Don Omar songs - this time from his compilation album Meet The Orphans. The one playing while Mia is in the market is called Taboo which samples Llorando Se Fue by Los Kjarkas and Lambada by Kaoma. The one played as soon as the crew opens the vault with the money is Danza Kuduro. It features Lucenzo, the musician who sang the original version Vem Dançar Kuduro. Not long after, Robson Moura and Lino Krizz would sing another version of that song called “Vem Dançar com Tudo.” It was used as the opening song to the popular Brazilian soap opera Avenida Brasil (Brazil Avenue).

It's a great combo of cool cars, fun action, whilst having an actually good story and still being pretty realistic (and yes, the safe scemes are sorta realistic, since a lot of that are practical effects). After this movie, dom becomes a super-hero character with superpowers, story begins to make less and less sense and physics just evaporate more and more
