Also don’t forget the cell Hans put her in was specifically built for her, cuffs and all, and Hans couldn’t have built it that fast. Her parents built that cell for Elsa if she got out of control

Fun fact: In the fairy tale that this was based on, Elsa was actually the villain and that's how they were originally going to portray her. But when they heard "Let It Go", they rewrote the script to make her one of the heroes.

PS Anna's act of True Love was to never give up on Elsa even being separated and then save Elsa's life and then Elsa's act of True Love was to let their parents lock her up for 13 whole years* mostly for Anna's safety and with the hope to be with her sister again 😭💕

I love how instead of someone performing an act of true love on Anna to thaw her heart, Anna had to perform an act of true love to thaw herself. How many of us are sitting around just waiting for someone to waltz into our lives to erase the hurts of our pasts? But it was Anna choosing to put her pain aside and choosing to give love rather than wait around to receive it that saved her.

*There's a theory that says Hans wasn't evil and he really fell for Anna* and the song the trolls sang was a spell actually, and thats why he saved Elsa in the ice castle cuz other way it doesnt make sense why he saved her then, if his plan was murder her.

Idk if I'm right but my personal theory was that he saved her for the time being because he wanted her to reverse the ice magic. Once she did that, then he'd have killed her. When he went to her and she said she couldn't stop the ice, he decided then he would kill her. He found his opportunity when he thought Anna was going to die. He found a legal way to do it. I could be wrong! It's just what I always thought.

Fun fact: Elsa was sopose to be a villain and "let it go" was soposecto be her villain song. But the directors felt it did not fit a villen but loved the song. So the rewrote the hole script to fit the song.

The sequel is really good, in fact it's one of my favorite CG Disney films. The first film is perfectly fine, a bit mediocre at times, but Frozen 2 does what I wanted to see from the first film. I'm very glad I was able to see the Broadway musical of Frozen right before the pandemic hit, for the added scenes and songs created a much stronger story.

When Anna shatters Han's sword, people finally realize the power of true love. Anna overcomes fear and puts her sister's safety before her own. The act of true love that saves Anna is her own loving act for her sister. I think the trolls were right about an act of true love saving her, but they thought it had to be from someone else. However, it actually had to come from Anna herself, that's why Olaf nearly melting himself for her didn't work. That was all act of true love as well, which is why I think it had to come from her to work.

I love this movie because instead of sisters fighting, it's their own love for each other that guides them. And Anna ends up saving herself because of her own true love for her sister. It's just such an amazing story, and it subtly shows the dangers of both extremes of trauma from childhood: isolation and love bombing.

im so triggered right now cuz everyone is feeling sorry for anna but the story is actually about elsa feeling depressed and lonely and she couldnt do anything cuz her toxic parents made her hide who she really was from the person she lovedd the most and when esa revealed herself, she felt better. In one of the songs elsa says "Im such a fool, i cant be free" that just shows you how much elsas hurt. This movie is deeper than you think.

The way I understood it was Anna's act of true love saved her. The instant she threw herself in front of the sword. Before else touched her, you could see her breath start to steam up. Her breath hadn't been visible before because she was freezing in side.

People are like it doesn’t make sense that her stairs and castle are perfect acording to an iceman, yet they say she can’t control her power. But it DOES make sence because she’s been constantly under the stress of hiding her power. a lot of people work less well when under high pressure. When she’s on the mountain she doesn’t have to keep it a secret or wory about hurting someone. So it makes sence she would have better control there.

Something I hadn’t noticed until my sixth or seventh time watching this movie.. but when Elsa has taken off her gloves to pick up the orb and scepter.. if you look closely you can see her hands starting to shake.. and when she turns to face her people, you can see the scepter wavering ever so slightly as her hands continue to shake.. an oh so subtle animation of how truly terrified she is at that moment.. :(

I could never take that theory seriously. How does a ship departing from Norway for just two weeks ends up sinking along the African coast? 🤨 And even if we say she was pregnant already when they got on the ship, she's obviously not showing and got at least 6 months of pregnancy left. But Tarzan was already born when his parents' ship sank, so you're telling me she had a baby in two weeks top? It just makes no sense at all. I'm glad the second movie finally debunked it.
