Serving as a spin-off of The Boys by Kripke, and based on The Boys comic book story arc "We Gotta Go Now" by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The series stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, and Shelley Conn in main roles. At the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, founded by Thomas Godolkin, young adult superheroes ("supes") put their moral boundaries to the test by competing for the university's top ranking and a chance to join The Seven, Vought International's elite superhero team.

Fun fact: Taylor Lautner was supposed to be Cate's fantasy not Soldierboy but Taylor's representation and or Taylor turned down the part cuz of the subject matter. I think he says he regrets not taking the role.

Just putting it out there: I think Cate was never truly romantically interested in Luke/ Golden Boy. I think she was told to get close to him so Dean Shetty could have better control, influence, and surveillance over him. I think Cate would have dated only Andre if it weren't for Shetty's interference.

@@Dark__Thoughts As much as it could've contributed to his demise, there's so much more to this school than initially thought, I'd consider it a domino effect or onion layers to the whole of what happened between each individual supe. A personal flaw it is, however, this show does great tying all things into having a main culprit, showing how much power a master manipulator truly has.

They kind of suggested during the Tek Knight episode that she suddenly changed her major ending up in the same class as Goldenboy. As if Shetty gave her Goldenboy as her mission.

Jordan deserves the same leeway that we give Cate, because both of them were essentially unloved by their parents, because of their powers. Brink capitalized on the fact that he knew that Jordan didn’t have a good relationship with their father. And used it to manipulate them.

You really see how Shetty was grooming Kate similarly to how she was grooming Marie earlier in the season. They were both missing positive parental figures and Shetty stepped in and took advantage of it for own her agenda.

I wouldn't say Emma is a leader but I do think Marie and Emma balance each other out. They definitely support each other and have a genuine friendship outside of the group. Marie was the one who help Cate get out of her nightmare and had a good intuition when her memory was erased so she has leadership qualities while Emma is a close second on this list.

I think emma and sams relationship is 'super' interesting. Emma is projecting her own desire to escape the controlling entities in her own life (her mother, her eating issues, her inferiority complex) onto sam and it is blinding her to the fact of how dangerous sam is. Her own experience is very different, yes she has been mentally manipulated and controlled by her mother but she was never a danger to others the way sam is and thats a problem that is going to end up being a major incident and failed 'rescue' of sam.

It's not just women that want to fix struggling men, this goes both ways, especially since men tend to have their protector instincts too. And "I can fix her." is pretty much a meme already whenever there's crazy but pretty women. Emma is definitely a good girl, but I still think Marie could potentially become the villain.

As bad as Shetty seemed, i liked her. I think she had good reasons to do all that. Especially after the Finale i definitely sympathized with her. Maybe having that as a means to hold supes in check would've been enough, but i dont blame her for wanting to make it contagious.
