I'm worried about that. I saw MINUS ONE 15 times in theatres. I love what Yamazaki has done and this is the closest thing to the kind of Godzilla movie I've been waiting to see/ make. I feel a sequel where he's fighting another monster would diminish the impact of this film. It works as a standalone. Leave the fights and brawls to Legendary's Monsterverse or another canon.
@beanzaru6 ай бұрын
@@VerisimilitudeFilms1 idk I think it could be done. There have been a few emotional godzilla movies before that had him fight other monsters. It's not ENTIRELY impossible, it just depends on the writing. The monsterverse movie plots are solely centered on the fact that they fight each other, that's their biggest problem. They give us really bullshit reasons to try and force these fights to happen or make sense

The truth behind the birth of Godzilla. Godzilla was born from a report of a long-distance tuna fishing boat from Yaizu Port, Shizuoka Prefecture, that was exposed to radiation from a hydrogen bomb test conducted by the United States at Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands on March 1, 1954. For Japan, which was recovering from its defeat in the nuclear bombing, Godzilla was a symbol that conveyed a message of anger and a threat to the world. This film is a remake that retains the spirit of the first Godzilla film.thanks from🇯🇵🙇🏻♂️

Most planes at the time didn’t have ejection seats as they were very new. When the mechanic Tachibana says “one more thing” you can briefly see that there’s German writing on the plane’s seat - ejection seats were largely developed by Germany during WW2, and some possibly given to Japan as they were allies. It’s not really a detail that the audience is told to help with the suspense at the end, but it’s a cool detail for if you know you know

Godzilla hates humans and his only goal was pure revenge. Before, he seemed to only attacked when he was provoked Think of it kind of like how Jason Voorhees does whenever people keep coming to Camp Crystal Lake. It’s like an animal protecting their territory. But once he mutated and transformed into his famous form, his contempt for humanity turned into outright hatred and misanthropic. It’s implied that he blames them for why he turned into such a creature. That’s why he seems so outlandishly destructive and violent, perhaps even moreso than his original 1950’s counterpart. This is probably the most angry and pissed I’ve ever seen him. So basically… it’s kind of Oppenheimer’s fault for why Godzilla is like this lol.

Fun thing to think about: If you look closely in most modern Godzilla Movies, he has gill slits, so yes he can breath underwater. He just hast to keep moving pretty quickly in order to acquire enough oxygen to live. Assuming he now generates/runs off of nuclear energy now in order to survive the bikini atoll "testing" that might not be the case and he may intake hydrogen now, and the slits may now have a secondary function to vent excess heat/provide a backblast to counteract the thrust of the heat beam.

This and Shin are my favorites. Both use old themes from the original Godzilla soundtrack. This one though, also uses from OST from both the original Kong vs. Godzilla and Mothra vs. Godzilla during some of the Godzilla scenes. While Shin hits hard on the trauma of the atomic bomb that it stays in an entire civilization for generations and the pain as well as disgrace of it possibly happening again. As well as being based on the meltdown and tsuami and how the government reacted or lack there of. Minus One shows the disgraced feeling of being a war vet of a war you lost. How the public views them, how they view themselves, how they are still haunted from it in every aspect of the movie. And the ending just made me go "I don't care if it could be considered cheesy, I'm so happy she's alive!" Tears of joy in a Godzilla film! Shin was about how the people of Japan refused to allow their homeland be disgraced and traumatized again by stopping a monster. Minus One was of haunted war vets succeeding in protecting their country and choosing to live for themselves.

one of the most annoying thing about 'reactors' is how they gotta pause just to be 'funny'. No one cares. There's a DIFFERENCE between ANALYSIS and Reacting. No one reacts every 3-5 words or sentences when reacting to a book. A 'Reaction' is not a "review". People misconstrue this all the time. A "reaction" is actually a movie watch while having 'some' reactions. It's come to the point where people will pause 20-50 times in a video just so they can talk 20-40 minutes before going back. You don't get to pause in a movie theater. Don't do it for a reaction video.
