4:10 - that is indeed Dr Serizawa's son pretty much his entire character got cut from the movie sadly, we only know about his backstory from the official novelisation Serizawa was obsessed with Godzilla to the point of neglecting his own son, and now Ren is taking out his daddy abandonment issues on Godzilla through *Mechagodzilla*

Your "That's a lot of fish" MUST be a reference to the 1998 Godzilla! This movie was absolutely great,my second favorite of the MonsterVerse,right after Godzilla(2014),it has the best fights,the Hong Kong one is mindblowing,I cannot have enough of it; the humans had the perfect right space,not too much,but enough for the story to work,and their humor was funny,not cringy at all. The CGI is wonderful,you can really see they used very well the time they had 'cause of the pandemic delay,they improved it as much as they could and the results are there. Gotta say,I prefer the 2014 CGI for its realistic feeling that still holds up,but GVK one is almost as good,especially considering we had two fights in daylight and one very illuminated by Hong Kong's neons,so without anything covering the bodies and the CGI itself. 4:30 the novelization explains it,but you need a little premise first: so,you'll surely remember that juvenile Kong was almost killed by Samuel L. Jackson on Skull Island in 1973,well,the cause wasn't much the fire,but rather the napalm that sucked up all the oxygen from the immediate air,and a giant ape of that size has giant lungs that need a lot of oxygen to function,so Skull Island's site head engineer developed an odorless chemical that is both a gas and a water-soluble that bond with blood like oxygen,and it's combined with a general soporific for when Kong oxygen levels would have been up to normal. The chemical was introduced when Kong was naturally asleep,they attempted and failed three times before getting the right dosage,no one was killed,but it was close; then,they used choppers to move him onto the boat,and boats that can carry his supposed weight actually exist,similar thing with the aircraft carrier,some of them can be huge and could actually have space(but would not be capable of bear their weight in a fight instance)for both Godzilla and Kong,because this movie depicts the monsters in their actual size,not like in Godzilla and King of the Monsters,where they change it depending on the scene and how impactful it must be as wished by the director 7:17 the director himself confirmed that he didn't do any change on Godzilla,so his dorsal fins are of the exact same size they were in King of the Monsters,and they,as I said,differentiate from the 2014 movie because he lost them afterward and they grew back in different shape and size,which is also an artistic license of KOTM's director,he wanted to give them the shape they had in Godzilla 1954,while he made them bigger 'cause,when Godzilla is swimming and you see him frontally,they look like a giant crown on his head 10:34 that's exactly what they wanted to achieve,as Nathan quoted from Ilene,Skull Island is like Hollow Earth come to the surface 10:44 they're called Titanus Nozuki or Warbat,and we know it thanks to the toys. I prefer Nozuki honestly,and,since they weren't named in the movie,I'm gonna keep calling them that way 11:26 us fans call him Doug,and the director and Legendary liked this name so much that they officially used it,in fact,there's a nice shirt with him and his name on it 14:13 the axe's blade is made out of a Godzilla specimen's dorsal fin,probably died in the ancient war between the two species,that's why it's glowy 17:57 well,kinda,it was actually Ghidorah's conscience,awoken by the Hollow Earth energy,that took over Mechagodzilla Great reaction,my friend! You're one of the few people that truly appreciate the MonsterVerse! Also,more movies are coming,the MV continues!

Godzilla 2014 5/10 Kong skull island 8/10 King of the monsters 7.5/10 Godzilla vs Kong 9/10 1:56 Kong heard Ghidorah he just ignored him. But that didn't stop the skullcrawlers from waking up and Ghidorah storm to combine with the perpetual storm around skull island and flooding the whole island. Also all the monsters from the last movie are asleep thanks to Godzilla. 2:56 zilla is the 98 monster stop saying that 3:09 cause most of the time their not a threat. Remember Godzilla is only protecting the earth not humanity. If there's a huge threat like Ghidorah and if humanity stays in it's please yes he will team up with humanity for the greater good. If they step out of line then he'll see them as a threat. The Monsterverse has been showing you all this for 3 movies 4:13 that's Dr serizawa son Ren 13:25 the backstory to the ancient humans controlling the titans is explained during the credit of the last movie 15:54 wrong Godzilla never jumped on buildings he smashes them during his fights 17:41 that's the point of an underdog look at rocky from the first movie
