My problem with this movie is they removed Voldemort background which basically told us he was born a psych cuz his mom drugged his dad with a love potion and had him and in this universe that causes the baby to be born without love

Hi! That scary guy is Fenrir Greyback. He is the werewolf who bit Remus Lupin when Lupin was 5 years old. Also, Greyback, I believe does not need the full moon to infect someone. Voldemort only taught Prof Snape how to fly without a broom. And finally Snape's mother is a full blooded witch whose maiden name is Prince. Snape's very abusive father is a muggle. So, Prof Snape is the Half-Blood Prince.

The Ginny/Harry relationship DOES make A LOT more sense in the books specially this one! it's a thick book with LOTS of details in it and their relationship was in my opinion very well written and developed throughout this entire book and forward When/if you read this one Tom you'll get it all! From him realizing she's EXACTLY his type and how his relation fell with Cho and WHY because that leads to why and how he realizes Ginny is THE ONE foe him in every aspect and also about Ginny herself and how she developed from that starstruck madly in love stupidity around Harry freaking out to becoming more confident and herself which is strong, fierce, funny, sarcastic, very charismatic girl that made Harry finally notice and like her! And how that all "be yourself he would actually notice and like you for who you are" plan/method was actually all Hermione's doing! It was her idea and guidance to Ginny! great detail!

From the 7 movies, this is the one where they cut out the most compared to the book. If you watch the movie and then read the book, you understand a lot more about how Voldemort thinks, how he hides all the Horcruxes, and especially his "relationship" with Dumbledore. All of that is very important to understand the 7th movie. I highly recommend you watch a video about all the differences between the movie and the book before watching the deathly hallows.

Professor Dumbledore's death was one of the most traumatic for Harry to witness. Right alongside his parents' murder at the hands of Voldemort when he was 15 months old, Cedric Diggory at the ratty (pun fully intended) hands of Wormtail during the last task of the Triwizard Tournament in that graveyard, and Sirius dying at the hands of his psychotic cousin Bellatrix Lestrange before he disappeared into the Veil in the Ministry Of Magic. Also, this is one of the few times Ron is shown to be intelligent in the movies. The scene on the Hogwarts Express where he's explaining the Unbreakable Vow to Harry, specifically. The wizard's chess scenes from Philosopher's Stone is another. I think another good example is the good questions he was asking in Chamber Of Secrets when Harry found that crumpled up book page in Hermione's hand.

The movies really spoiled Ron's character, which is all the more sad because Rupert Grint is an excellent actor, and deserved to have more of his complexities to play with.

Fan theory: some potions (such as the luck potion) are cumulative poisons so if you continually ingest these, you will die. Children who are conceived under the love potion cannot love. This happened to Tom Riddle who's father was being given this. Look at the 1st potions lesson: Hermione describes what she smells. The vapour is green when describing grass and orange when describing toothpaste (Ron's hair). Plus the ensemble is a mess in the film: Katie Bell is in the year above, Romelda Vane is in the year below, Goyle is too stupid and Lavender is a 'daft bimbo'. None of these are in this class from the books.

Harry is 16 through the whole movie. Hermione turned 17 right after school started in September and Ron turned 17 in March. Dumbledore was actually 114/115 when he died s the trio weren't far off in their guess about his age. Harry won gold at the Triwizard Tournament. He gave Fred & George the money to develop products and put towards a future joke shop. They already had the building for the shop before they left Hogwarts in such epic fashion. When the chemo made her hair start falling out Maggie Smith said that at least her McGonagall wig would fit better now. 😂 That lady is a tough one. This is my least favorite adaptation. When you get to the book you'll see why I think.
